The room was VERY VERY clean and had its own beach access! Beds were ok comfort wise the place is old but newly remodeled so the bathroom is TINY and the sink is in the way when bringing things in the door. I would definitely recommend!

My husband & I wanted to take a short getaway. the Shutters was recommended to me. The staff was friendly & helpful. I would recommend a safety bar along the long wall of the bath/shower. Then you would have something to hold on to while showering. Thank you, Shutters!!

Comfortable however the pools and hot tub is outdated. No hose for cleaning feet etc, only showers. Breakfast just mediocre. Lack of space. Not enough trash bins on property. Lack of beach service. Charged for all nights when I had to check out a day early. This is hotels.com issue. I had trip protection.

We arrived pretty late, but the lady at the front desk greeted us with a warm smile and made us feel welcome despite the late hour. She didn’t make us feel like we were an inconvenience, which was much appreciated. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, though on our checkout day, my husband found a hair in the breakfast eggs. I would just recommend they wear hairnets when handling food to prevent situations like this. Aside from that minor incident, everything was excellent—the location, the private beach (though it could use better lighting at night), the pool, and the friendly staff. I can’t wait to come back soon!

Staff was not super friendly and the rooms had the bare minimum of essentials. We called the front desk for extra towels and they never came. The building itself was a bit run-down; for example, our shower was stuck in the “on” position so we couldn’t use the tub filler. The outdoor shower coming off the beach also had absolutely no water pressure. It was alright for just one night, but I wouldn’t choose to stay here again.
