0/10- do not stay if you care about your health and do not want to inhale mold. My fiance' and I booked the room due to us being from out of town and wanting to have 48 hours to ourselves. There was mold in the room on the windows, curtains, and lamp shade (314) (I have video and photos) the bed was initially wet when we arrived -but we thought it was due to the room being super cold and/or the condensation in the room. When we pulled the sheets back after they came off there was bright red stains that looked like blood on the mattress (very large area- I have photos that covered 1/4 of the bed). When was the last time the room was checked? When was the last time the sheets were changed? Because if they were then they wouldve seen the red blood (assuming) stains on the mattress. When was the last time the curtains were pulled back? Then they wouldve seen the enourmous amount of mold going across the top and down the sides. Then I was charged 124.88$ instead of 50$ for the room hold. I have a letter from the staff and spoke to the manager Dee (she stated a full refund would be issued) and that the hold would not stay and she did not know why their was a hold- apparently this is something that occurs when people pre-pay. Yes the manager was nice- but that room should not have been made available . Thank God we did not bring the kids- they would’ve immediately gotten sick from the amount of mold. I would like someone from LaQuinta Inn & Suites cooperate office to contact me.

Honestly this hotel isn't bad compared to some I have been to in the past. I slept well and the service was very good. The people were nice and friendly. The breakfast was pretty good as well. I've had less options at better rated hotels so thats a one upper to me. I will definitely be keeping this place in mind for future places to stay if I ever need it again. There is a few things I'd like to see improved upon down the road, but these things I find minor and dont effect how I feel about returning in the future.The elevator has an unpleasant smell to it and the door sometimes doesn't close properly. It takes it a try or 2 for it to actually close. Not a big deal, but just a heads up for those who might find it concerning. The hot and cold water were backwards in our shower, took my fiance longer than it should have to figure that out. He was afraid we would only have cold showers. So be aware that may be possible in some of the rooms if it was that way for ours. And the last thing I can say I didn't care for was the soaps they have available for use. What is on the label is not what is in the bottles. They definitely refill them with plain soap. You can tell by the consistency and smell. Its kinda watery too which makes me think they water it down too. So just be aware you should probably bring you own soaps. We would have but it was an unplanned stay for us so we didnt have much of a choice. Overall, for the price, convenience, and service I do plan on coming back again.

Older hotel. Owner obviously doesn’t want to spend any money. Our toilet ran AND leaked the entire stay. Told staff and manager separate times. Given lip service. Mopped up the leak with bath towels and the room started to smell like sewer the last 4 days. Never again! Jokingly refer to it as La Stinka

Impressive

We were happy with the area, how clean it was, the breakfast choices were good, other than no fresh fruit, pool was refreshing too. The only thing that was upsetting, was when I booked the room, I was quoted $59 but was charged $92. We didn't expect that at all. Not the hotels fault because I booked though Hotels.com.
