Only the Location is Decent – Everything Else is Terrible The only positive about this property is its location. Beyond that, my experience was extremely disappointing. Upon arrival, check-in was at a completely different address than listed, causing confusion and wasted time. The room itself was in unacceptable condition. The bathroom was clearly not cleaned, with a clump of hair bundled on the floor and visible stains in the toilet. Pillows had no cases and showed urine marks. There was a strong, unpleasant odor throughout the room, making it feel unhygienic and unsafe to stay in. Communication with the property was poor. Staff were unresponsive, and even when I reported the issues, no immediate solution was offered. Instead, I was told to wait up to 24 hours for an update—despite my booking being only two nights—leaving me with the impossible choice of staying in an unsanitary room or finding alternate accommodation at my own cost. Cleanliness was non-existent, service was unhelpful, and the overall condition of the property was far below what was advertised. Based on my experience, I would never recommend staying here. Rating: 1/5

Terrible experience. I paid on hotels.com but they said I had to pay again on top of a deposit that they don’t mention and you have to pay city parking. They have NO parking. We left and didn’t even check in because it was so much.

The staff came At 7am to ask to move clothes for the baby , that was outside very rude, the door was not working properlly , therefore impossible to talk to the lady

Booked a 3 night stay for my son’s birthday . At check in the fridge did not work had to ask the front desk several times to check it. The next day mid morning it was fixed. My perishables ( sushi) spoiled. The water was Luke warm then became non existent. The floor was dirty. My white socks was black after walking in it. It boasted a full kitchen but there were no pots except a large pot cover. I am disappointed. I didn’t read the reviews before booking had I done so I would see everything I have experienced was also described in other reviews. I checked out the second day did not accomplish my fullnstay

Check-in location can be confusing since there are 3 or 4 buildings within the block that are part of the company. I did enjoy the pool area & the ease of access to my room. My room was not an updated one & that's always disappointing when it's not mentioned or pictured. Resort fee can seem annoying as it's almost the same price as the room & little "resort" feel; it's just a beach towel & access to pool. No chair or umbrella. Oh yeah, ice situation was a little weird too. Only in office & nothing to take any back to your room with, bring a bag I guess. Overall tho, I would stay again & again due to proximity & price.

Very disappointed in this stay. TLDR: the place is clearly a run down motel that’s undergone barely surface-level remodeling and is called a resort because there’s a 20x20 ft pool at one of the buildings. On arrival, I received an information sheet detailing a number of things. One, there was a complimentary happy hour at the sister hotel and two, there was pool access at this other hotel as well. Much like the rest of my experience, this was a disappointment, as I found out the sister hotel was a 20 minute drive away. To say this was misleading is an understatement. When I arrived at my room, I found multiple broken tiles on the floor, cobwebs and dust on the lighting fixtures, a kitchen light that didn’t work, a bathroom light that didn’t work, a bathroom fan that didn’t work, and a bathroom window that did not shut. In addition, the sheets had holes in them and there was no duvet cover, just two sheets. The couch was torn and ripped, with foam insert showing. We received no washcloths and when I asked for some, none were brought. When I went to the front desk, the stated I could have 1 cloth per person every 3 days. Absolutely disgusting. We ended up leaving after only one night. I received a hard time from the front desk staff about checking out early and was told a refund would be “difficult.” Would not recommend.

Staff upon check in wasn’t very hospitable(check out after we checked out early was fairly friendly however). Room wasn’t horrible but not very clean or confidence inducing. Upon inspecting the bed the mattress cover had what looked like mouse droppings and stains all over it. Also there were some people standing out side the door from the time we initially checked in to the time we went back after getting dinner that seemed a little sketchy. This isn’t a one off property it’s an area with a few repurposed apartment buildings. They charge 34$ on top of your initial purchase plus a 100$ deposit. Wouldn’t recommend unless you can’t find somewhere else and would 100% inspect the place before laying down or sitting on anything.

I gave this place a chance but it was not a good choice. We were able to buy parking there that wasnt too expensive and the beach was right across the street. Its kind of a shady motel vibe. Our tv did not work and maintenance came in and broke it even more. The bathroom was not very clean and just overall not a great experience so definitely will not book again

kitchen area provided but they don't tell you they don't provide the basic cookware,(they do provide a sponge and tiny bottle of dish soap),you only get 1 towel and have to answer 1 question to many for more or fresh towels and getting a roll of toilet paper is almost like asking for a bag of gold. the mirror was against the wall instead of on the wall. I notified 3 different people in the office and the last one told me just leave it. the water ran in the tub constantly. I reported that. Someone came ,banged on the shower handle a few times and walked out,it worked until it didn't work. The location is nice,food,beach,park, and free trolley all a stones throw away. I think if they take the time and properly fix the unit issues and clean them Seaside can easily be a 5 star property. Honestly, I would stay there again🙂
