The room smelled of mildew right away. They don’t change the fitted sheets on the bed. And they didn’t give us back our security deposit. The sink in our kitchenette was leaking the whole trip, we notified the staff and they never physically saw it leak so they never fixed it, probably why the room retakes of mildew. We called our bank and they said the funds never got sent back.

Convenient to beach. Check-in was quick and easy. Valet parking available besides public parking (a couple of blocks from hotel). Concierge took luggage to room and upon check-out, took luggage and loaded into car. No elevator. TV in room was on the panel facing the bed, so if my family wanted to watch, we’d have to pile up on the bed to watch. It took longer than usual for staff to retrieve my car from valet.

good choice

I liked the room, was close to the beach, breakfast was good, staff was nice and helpful. Only bad part is if you have a car to park, you have to pay and might not get to park real close to hotel. I would stay again.

Disappointing

Pros: The only positive thing we could say about this hotel is that it was close to South Beach (within one street) and a 10 minute walk there.
Cons: Accommodating personnel, change your old rugs, and somehow enlarge your bathroom and room. We were glad we were only there for one night.
Location: Location was great, beach, a lot of restaurants and plenty of stores.
We were 3 adults & when we looked at the pictures online it showed 2 large beds. When we got to our room we found a very small room that had 1 bed and an open couch which was very uncomfortable. The bathroom was also very small. The TV was facing the couch which meant the people in bed were not able to watch the TV. The people at the front desk were pretty friendly. However, the woman that prepared the breakfast thought she was the "gestapo". Everytime someone would take something she would immediately question them. While we were eating breakfast outside everyone there was complaining about this woman. She stopped me from making my own coffee, waffle, and questioned my grandson (17 yrs. old) about who he was with, and what room he was in. We have stayed in countless hotels all over the US and have NEVER been questioned in this manner. We will never recommend this hotel and needless to say we have stayed in hotels for lesser money and quite a bit better, cleaner, and larger rooms. We were very, very disappointed.

Nice place - needs work

Pros: The nearness to the beach, Ocean drive and restaurants.
Cons: Better plumbing
Location: Walking on the beach, eating, shopping, celebration options. Also close to a HopOnHopOff Bus pickup - great tour options.
We enjoyed the layout of the hotel and convenience of being close to Ocean Drive, the beach, and all the shops and restaurants. We found the suite to be pleasant, however, the bed was uncomfortable, and by the second night, there was a lot of tossing and turning. Also, water pressure was horrible, and the staff weren't forthcoming with information in a way I'd expect from a hotel that serves tourists.

Nice and confortable

The hotel was nice and well placed, everything was clean and well put together. The staff was great specially Pedro at the front desk who was always willing to help with inquiries. We will definitely come back.

Very big disappointment

Pros: it was close to the beach.
Cons: Put in an elevator. Fix the shower knob. Get the hot water to work better. Fix the room air conditioners
the room air conditioners didn't work very well they kept coming on and off all night. there is no elevator for the second floor rooms the shower was just that no facet to wash your feet. the water knob kept falling off and there were bugs!!!
