This beautiful 1 bedroom unit has everything for your Maui vacation. You will love the well maintained kitchen and bathroom. Enjoy your coffee on the balcony while looking at whales and boats and the mountains crossing the west Maui mountains in the distance. Enjoy air conditioning in both the living room and bedroom. Unwind in the living room, where you'll find a television and a comfortable queen sofa sleeper. The location has shuffleboard, a putting green, pool, and jacuzzi, and is very close to the beach and public park with tennis and pickle ball courts. Very close to restaurants, stores, and shops. With over 30 miles of beach on Maui you can take surfing and kite boarding lessons, go snorkeling, hiking to waterfalls, or just relax and enjoy a local plate lunch.

The kitchen is fully stocked for all your cooking and BBQ needs. Fresh linens, towels, and beach towels always included. Coin laundry is on site.

The unit is well stocked with kitchen ware and appliances, we also provide:
- beach chairs, beach towels, beach umbrella, sorry no snorkeling gear,
- a toiletries starter kit sufficient for short stay,
- a starter kit of laundry soap, dish soap, dishwasher soap, and kitchen cleaning supplies,
- drip coffeemaker and some coffee to get the trip started
- linens, towels, etc.

Great building, decent unit

I love Kauhale Makai, we stay there a lot. The unit itself was pretty good overall. It's not the most up to date, but as a launch pad for the rest of Maui, it worked just fine. Would stay here again in a pinch.

We were only staying one night, the unit was clean and comfortable. The door code didn’t work, we called the property manager and she arrived promptly to fix the battery in the lock.

We enjoyed our stay. View of ocean from balcony, living room and bedroom was wonderful! Living room furniture felt a little dated. Everything else is excellent!
