Pricey for what you get compared to a condo or some smaller hotels. So be sure you are all about the giant 4ft deep pool, because that is really the thing here. Cost $75 per person if you want to have a guest. The cove is nice though, but water was really dirty after the storm. We liked the beach much more than the pool. The main restaurant was good, but pricey. The sushi place was mediocre at best. No decent live music at the pool. That was disappointing. This place could be so much better for little cost. The room was nice, but the only real upgrade from the club rates next door is that there are three elevators. Club has only 1. You have to go to the club for laundry. The shower was nice. The housekeeping was also great. Be prepared that everything here cost extra. Kaua’i Shores Hotel lacks the big pool, but has the lava lava beach club right there and we really missed that from our last trip. They have music nightly. Kawai Shores also has bikes you can use for free which is really fun. Overall, for 1/3 the price, we will be going back to Kaua’i Shores Hotel.

I have stayed at this resort for 25 years so that speaks for itself. My ocean front room was spectacular. The staff (Dave at check in who helped me stay an extra day when I was in tears) is exceptional. House keeping is fantastic, valet is exceptional. Pick up and drop off is such a bonus from and to airport!!! Maybe new mattresses will come? I slept in a sink hole and woke up with a sore back.

I’ve stayed at this resort for 25 years. It’s my one and only. I did splurge for the premier ocean front and it delivered. It was very expensive and I enjoyed every minute of my patio. One star ding for the very worn mattress that really hurt my back as I sunk into a hole every night. My duvet and pillows didn’t feel fresh the first night. However every night after was top notch from house keeping. The staff is super friendly. Valet is over the top helpful.

Everything was great except the young girl working the pool hut allowing the locals to occupy the beach lounge chairs while my wife and daughter sat on the ground because the beach chairs are “first come first serve”.!!I only spent $11k for a room and $4k in the art gallery…. Why show me any respect or preference
