Nice resort

Great pool and beach area! Hallways were extremely stuffy with pool ventilation and minimal a/c. Hit and miss with staff. Some were very nice and others seemed bothered. Late night flight so staying at Sonesta fit into our day best. Would we stay there again? Probably

Perfect location to explore the island. Resort amenities were fantastic. The pool is beautiful and the hot tubs overlooking the lush mountains and foliage. Awesome Resort. Plenty of food options nearby and on-premises. Room service is definitely a plus! Dukes restaurant is connected to the resort, making it easy access to great meals. Plenty of food choices within the resort as well. Picturesque spot perfect for couples, Business travel or families. I highly recommend staying here. The beach is a swimmable beach with calm water. The rooms were recently updated and immaculately clean. We had an ocean view /pool view which was heavenly! We will definitely be returning hopefully within the year .It was one of the best weeks of my life.

The hotel is obviously older but the rooms have been updated and are very nice. We had a 2 queen, pool view, but you could see the bay just fine too. The water isn’t nearly as nice as most of the resorts because it’s in a harbor. The beach is nice, there are plenty of chairs and seating everywhere. If you have a car, plan on paying $30 per day for parking on top of the $45 per day resort fee. The food at the poolside restaurant is good and the portions are pretty big. If we go back to Kaui again, we will stay somewhere else. We were on a tighter budget this year so that was why we chose the Sonesta. Nice place, just not in a beautiful location.

Expected a bit more for an additional $75 a day ($45 resort fee and $30 self park) as far as amenities. Locals park free in he same parking lot we were charged for and other then pool chairs, towels and the gym there were not any other amenities to take advantage of. Beautiful grounds which is open to the public and nice clean room. Good stay overall.

Hotel is outdated, food options were just ok. It’s part of a vacation club - not that that was a problem, just an FYI. The beach was interesting it’s a little bay next to a shipping area and where the cruise ship comes in. Check in staff was friendly.

Very nice resort. Only issue was the parking. People who are not staying at the property take up a lot of the parking. Sometimes handing to walk a long distance just to get back to our room. Other than that it was great

The view was obstructed a bit They put us by the elevators, which I would not suggest that again. Not because of the elevators, but because of the staff cleaning the garbage cans at night at 10 o’clock.
