Do not book on the 5th floor!

The location is great. They offer free beach towels and water containers to return. The cons were there were roaches if you don't keep the drain closed in the bath tub- big roaches and little roaches. The refrigerator leaked water and stayed warm the whole time. Every time the air turned on its smelled like someone's toilet- the smell in the room was horrible. We got a room with a balcony, which was extra price but it was on the 5th floor which is a rooftop where people throw trash out their window to the birds. Additionally, we saw a man walking on the rooftop while we are in the room. No advance warning or anything. The view was not worth charging for a lanai. Guest services was ok, but we were supposed to get our room cleaned twice and they forgot about us the 2nd time and came back the room smelled horrific. Twin fin has great amenities but they Fifth needs to not be a level rented out to anyone.

Stayed here a week on a girls trip and I can’t say enough good things about the location especially if you don’t have a vehicle during your stay. Dining, shopping, the beach, the zoo next door, the bus stop for many of the tour companies, all right there. The hotel lacked decor but honestly I could care less considering the location and views.

Loved that it was right across the street from the beach. Valet parking made it convenient for us to park. Everyone was helpful and friendly except one of the valet workers. Maybe he was having a bad day.

Had a great time during my visit. My Only suggestion will be to close the gap one the joining room door. We can literally hear each other's conversations, i had to put a towel underneath to cancel out the noise and the smell of their food coming in to my room.
