Hidden Falls – A Romantic Hard-Wall Yurt Retreat

Designed for couples, Hidden Falls is a quiet, romantic escape tucked between two peaceful subdivisions and a nearby horse pasture. Here, the soundtrack is simple—birdsong, a rushing creek, and the occasional glimpse of deer or wild turkey passing through.

Inside, the space blends upscale rustic charm with clean, modern touches—polished concrete floors, warm textures, and thoughtful details throughout. The open layout feels both spacious and intimate, with a deep, plush sofa and built-in chaise perfect for unwinding after a day in the mountains. A wall-mounted TV with Wi-Fi makes cozy nights in just as inviting.

Hidden Falls is the perfect romantic mountain get a way. This unique yurt is only a 5 minute drive to Bryson City, but is the perfect level of seclusion and privacy. The interior is spotless, gorgeous and the porch is perfect for a cup of morning coffee while listening to the babbling brook below. After a long day of hiking, the hot tub was a much needed break. The Smokey Mountain National Park, with breathtaking views, is only a few minutes away. Also, check out the Elk with just a short drive to Cherokee. We can’t wait to come back!

BEWARE! This host does not operate in good faith.

We booked a stay for 3 nights. The first night Hurricane Helene passed over. The next day we lost power and contacted the host. The host advised there was flooding expected for Bryson City and that if we wanted to leave she would offer a credit for the remaining two nights. We immediately left over safety concerns and did in fact have to navigate some flooding to get out. Cell phone service then went down in the entire region as the catastrophic flooding escalated. It was several days before we actually regained service (we became stranded due to road closures). When we did regain cell service I contacted the host to give her an update. She was non-responsive and refused to communicate further until I involved VRBO. Long story short has refused to honor her offer for a refund because she didn’t hear back from us on the day everything went down. This is the same day cell service went down widespread across the region. We are taking legal action and I are stunned that someone would be so crass given the circumstances.

Amazing Stay!

Beautiful surroundings and immaculate Yurt. Everything we needed to relax and regenerate. Babbling creek was wonderful to hear as we sat on the deck. Close to town and shops. Fall color was vibrant. We will be back. Already recommended this VRBO to friends.

Awesome location. Close enough to get to everything ,but far enough to be peaceful and back to nature. The building was super nice. Plenty of room and very cozy. We loved the hot tub and large bath tub. We will highly recommend this place to our friends.

Wonderful Getaway!

We very much enjoyed our stay at Hidden Falls. In addition to it being set in a lovely and quiet section of woods, well off the beaten path, it is still close enough to town to enjoy all the benefits of beautiful Bryson City. The property is well-appointed and well-maintained. Everything about the cabin was just as described online. We live in hot, sunny south Florida and our trip to the mountains was just what the doctor ordered, We enjoyed the mountains, water falls and cooler temperatures. Hidden Falls is definitely a "hidden gem." Thank you for a wonderful getaway. We'll be back!

Beautiful Stay

We enjoyed this beautiful yurt and all it has to offer. The unit was fully stocked with just about anything you would need. I would encourage adding an ironing board but that would be it! The unit was so clean and cozy!! Hope to stay again!

Best mountain getaway outside of Bryson City!

It was our first time staying in a yurt, so we didn’t know what to expect. We were amazed at how easy it was to get there. Plenty of room inside the yurt, and filled with everything you need to relax and enjoy the smoky mountains. We will definitely stay here again!

We had an amazing week at this jem tucked away in the woods. It was the perfect cozy environment to unwind and relax from busy day to day life. The downtown area was so cute and walkable and there were so many nice trails to hike. Would most definitely recommend and would love to travel back!
