There was some confusion with checkin. I was given room keys . The room was not ready. The second room the key did not work . After a third trip to the front desk I was given the correct room key for the correct room . I was told they were training a new front desk person . This is the first time I have had any issues with the hotel . The rest of our visit was great . The entire staff is very nice . So will definitely be back .

Staff was diffident, uninterested in helping guests arrive and depart, with one exception: a bouyant young female valet who tracked down a USB-C cable for me. Amazingly, if you don’t use valet parking ($15 a day), you have to park in an “event” lot some 400 meters away. This requires crossing Lennoxville Road on foot, going and coming, weather notwithstanding. The hotel’s location in relation to the Beaufort waterfront leaves much to be desired.

There’s better places to stay…

Upon arrival, there was mold on the ceiling and the AC wasn’t working. I immediately called the front desk and they were able to switch rooms for us. I’m shocked that they didn’t know there was literal mold on the ceiling, and willingly put people in a room with mold and no AC? It wasn’t worth the money we paid. It was basically a glorified motel. For a “boutique hotel” you’d think they have higher cleanliness standards. You could get a better room and stay at a Hilton or Marriott. Wish they would pay attention to detail, as it was extremely distressing to walk in to that. We were there for a wedding and were very dissatisfied in the service provided. Not to mention we didn’t receive daily room service like they advertise. Trash lining the halls, empty glasses littering the floors, very musty smell. The pool was very outdated and there was trash laying around there too. Also some kind of weird rocks or flakes of something all around the pool, so it would stick to your feet and get on your lounge chair. I don’t know… seems a bit pricey for what we experienced. Very dissatisfied.
Thought it was dust at first from the air vent, but it’s mold.

The room was spacious and clean The parking lot was a block away from the hotel Upon arrival it was utter chaos trying to get into the hotel to check in and then learning that parking was either by Valet at $15 a day or parking a block away ( and it was raining) The hallway carpets were filthy and the ice machine on our floor was not working I will not stay there again
