Great, well-located property with excellent restaurant and bar, and kind of odd "hot pool" instead of a jacuzzi. Nice because it was large, but absolutely overtaken with lotion/soap scum - combatted by eye-watering use of chlorine - INDOORS. Do not believe I received quoted $15 per day discount for Expedia. Housekeeping FAIL 4/18, 19 and 20 in that we only had two towel sets for three people AND they kept leaving the coffeemaker and cups dirty and not restocked. Finally, last night of the trip things were done correctly. Different crew?? Overall a nice stay, but could be improved upon with very little effort.

Not worth a single penny. Worst 3-star hotel experience I have ever had. Parking is limited, rooms are not ready for 2 guests, No microwave in room and list goes on. Avoid at all circumstances.

This was a wonderful place to stay in the village of Banff. It is the last hotel on your way out of town but still walking distance to "downtown." The rustic theme was cozy with a great roaring fire in the lobby. The restaurant attached to the hotel is the Keg which is a great steak place. We did the spa too which was wonderful after a week of hard-core skiing. The spa locker room was small and not practical for 2 women using the vanity. We did not use this hotel as our base to skiing but the shuttle was right out front to the resorts. I would stay here again when we want to be in the village.

Property was great overall had a few issues with our room. The fireplace wouldn’t work I less we had an employee come fix it and turn it on every time we wanted to use it. Second our room door wouldn’t latch shut and lock unless we were inside to latch it shut with the security lock. Staff was able to fix the door after a few hours but we had to wait around for them to get there to fix it. Other than those issues was a great experience

Our superior king room was very nice with a sofa and table and chair and an ample size bathroom. The hotel was very clean with friendly staff. Even though it was a very busy long weekend in Banff, the hotel was quiet and peaceful, no huge lines for the front desk or waiting for parking. I would definitely stay here again. The only thing I would change is I wish that the restaurant (The Keg) served breakfast later, they closed at 11 am.

First impression service was not great. It didn’t seem like they wanted to be there. Our room key card didn’t work properly at first and they said it was because of my cell phone proximity to it within the 3 minutes to the room. The guest laundry for our hiking clothes requires change which I was told to walk next door to another hotel to use their ATM to withdraw cash to get change at the front desk. Disappointing service at the restaurant. Towels weren’t well stocked at the hot pools - guests were coming to take them, leaving us worried we wouldn’t have any upon leaving.
