The hotel staff was extremely nice. We had an ongoing problem with the key card not working, but in all cases, it was immediately rectified. THERE WAS NO POOL! It is a small and large HOT TUB!. We knew this when booking but many others, especially with children, were disappointed. The location was great. Breakfast was both American style and European and was very good. There was a coffee shop on the first floor which was convenient.

We spent a day here and enjoyed our stay. Our hotel room was clean, appreciated the dog bowls and dog beds they provided for our puppy that we brought along. Like it's convenience and the underground car parking. Breakfast was fresh and liked the options. Will definitely recommend.

The Banff Aspen lodge has been nicely renovated and everything is clean and modern. The rooms are a great size. The staff are extremely friendly and accommodating. We also enjoyed the full breakfast.

Friendly staff, clean and in walking distance to all shops and restaurants. The only negative experience was when we opened the door to our room there was a slight sewer smell as you walk in because the sink is outside the bathroom. The slight smell did not carry into the room only near the entrance door where the sink was.

Everything was expected except the AC did not remain steady. You set the temp and it keeps running over cooling forcing you to turn it off. The AC worked but would not shut off.

We stayed at Banff Aspen Lodge during our family trip to the Rockies in May 2025, but unfortunately, the hotel experience overshadowed the beauty of Banff. At checkout, we were wrongly accused of damaging the parking area, and $600 was immediately held on my credit card without proof or proper communication. We were not allowed to speak to a manager, and no one offered to inspect the damage with us. Our trailer was too small to cause such damage, and this was confirmed in videos recorded by both us and the staff. After several emails and calls, the amount was refunded — but not without serious stress, a disrupted trip, and a bank fee caused by the hold. I even had to visit my bank in person to fix the issue. There was no real apology or attempt to make up for the trouble. This situation affected our plans, our budget, and the emotional tone of the trip. For a family traveling with kids, this was a terrible experience. I do not recommend this hotel and would suggest booking with other properties in Banff that treat guests with more professionalism and care.

What a wonderful hotel! Very clean, great staff. Free parking and very good breakfast included. Loved the spacious room that we had that was separated in the middle, so kids had their own space with 2 twin beds. Hot tub area is nice, located outside so you can enjoy fresh air while sitting in warm water. The balcony has a nice view as well. We will be back in this hotel for sure
