Phone call from staff to confirm my credit card prior to arrival was not friendly, and was abrupt. I was left feeling like I’d done something wrong. Check-in staff were friendlier and were clearly in training as process took time, but I’d rather a friendly customer oriented attitude than the first person I talked with.

The property was absolutely incredible. The interior of the rooms was amazing, and the location was prime. The service and amenities were excellent. In fact, the interior of the rooms exceeded what you would find at a Marriott. While I understand that they charge quite high room rates during the summer months, this property stands out compared to others that charge similar prices but do not offer the same level of service. We were really happy with our stay, and I would definitely recommend this place to others.

This property is 100% not worth the price. It is a renovated 1970’s motel for $700 a night and I had to pay an extra fee for my child on top of that. The front desk attendant was unpleasant and rude. I don’t leave reviews often, but I will never stay here again and will not recommend to anyone else I know travelling to Banff.

Enjoyed our stay here for 2 nights as part of our roadtrip. Good value for money with free parking. Friendly service on reception and good breakfast included. Coffee shop seems very popular. Excellent location on Banff Avenue with the Roam bus stop, supermarket and liquor store just a few yards away.

Nice hotel with pool close to town center

The hotel is located conveniently close to the center of town, restaurants, shops etc. Staff are friendly and the hotel was clean and relatively modern. Having a pool, sauna and hot tub is a nice touch (albeit these are small and located very close to hotel rooms on all sides). Parking at the hotel was easy and free. The hotel included a decent spread of buffet breakfast which was included in our stay. The only downside is that the room was very small, so small that the front door only opened partially before hitting the bathroom wall which made getting in and out (particularly with luggage) difficult. Our TV also didn't work (though this wasn't a huge issue as we werent in the room often).

We enjoyed our stay at Banff Aspen Lodge. Just a few blocks from the action, close to bus pick up & several pick up location for tours. The room was clean & although we didn’t have kids or others with us the queen floorplan had a separate living space with a pull out couch which would give then their own space. We were right off the hot tub & other amenities and it was quiet. Parking behind hotel was very convenient.

Easy and walkable to many locations. Nice breakfast and the cafe was an added bonus! If you're going to Lake Louise in the summer, the bus is about a 2-3 min walk. Just remember to reserve your seats ahead of time!
