Great location to walk the entire Banff downtown district. Close to all the shops and restaurants. Appreciated the heated underground parking which was included in the room stay. Room was large and had a keurig so I could enjoy coffee nice and early in the room. Sauna/hot tubs felt great after hiking. My son and I tried to think of anything bad about this place and all we could come up with was we hated the toilet paper holder. So that should tell you that it’s a great place! Oh and free bear spray rental! Totally recommend the Ptarmigan!

Arrived, staff was friendly but our room was terrible. The one bed had a large black stain on the cover sheet. The other bed had a yellow stain on the sheet and crumbs between the sheets. A fellow came up and changed the bedding, was grateful for him to do this quickly. Hair in the bathtub and the rug did not look like it had been vacuumed. Went to the hot tubs, floor was dirty and the one hot tub was cold and both looked like they needed a major clean. Was a very terrible experience will not be going back and will let others know.
