The rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were comfortable. Coffee station was awkward. The whole tray had to be pulled out & used somewhere else. The fridge was quite small. The bathroom was very spacious. Lots of room to put toiletries. The only food option was the Keg. Although a fantastic restaurant, it’s expensive. The internet was ok, but it wouldn’t reach to our little balcony. It would drop.

I feel like our room was basic. A little outdated. And not very clean. Found some ones toenail on carpet and the remote for the tv was filthy. I think if they charge that much. I would hope for a cleaner room.

Remarkable stay

Impressive room interior! We loved the mood of Banff. Our room window could be open a bit to get fresh air, the TV had a google chrome for my phone to connect. I could park my car during my group tour. Staff were so nice and smiling all the time; that made our one night stay!! Thanks!!

We were not given the room we reserved on Expedia. The front desk said they could upgrade us if we paid extra. We just wanted the room we paid for. After 2 nights in a much smaller room than we reserved, we complained and only then were we given the room we originally should have had, and it was our last night. There is no AC in the rooms and the window is too small to cool off the room when it is open, even with the cooler temperature outside. Coming from Florida, we were looking forward to the cooler temperatures, but ended up sweating in the heat of the room which also made it difficult to sleep. On a positive note, the Keg restaurant had good food and the location of the lodge was good.
