Had to change rooms twice. Chlorine level in pool was excessively high it was so bad your eyes would burn and you could taste the chlorine . Staff refused to help. First room had window frozen open. Front desk staff didn’t want to assist and tried to use the excuse of too many bathers. It was bad enough they had to close the pool. Staff is dishonest and I wouldn’t recommend anyone stay there till they fix their issues. Asked for a manager and no one would connect with us. More to say but will leave it at that for now

Staff was not great - not a friendly nor welcoming experience checking in. Keys for 1 of the 2 rooms kept failing. Had to get them re-programmed 4 times! Reception had nothing to say about this, which leads me to believe it’s common. Was not a good time being locked out of our room after visiting the pool, being cold & wet and revisiting the lobby to have a problem that had already been corrected be corrected again. View was a parking lot of neighbouring property Clumps of hair in/on every drain in hot pool area - super gross!

Sad that they have taken away the coffee and tea in the lobby. Especially at Christmas. Was disappointed that the complimentary bus pass was not offered at check in. Room was good and beds very comfortable.

Hotel was very good and comfortable. Because it is a popular family hotel kids in hallways can be very loud. Guests should be reminded to keep the volume down when leaving/entering their rooms as a courtesy.

We recently stayed at Banff Caribou Lodge and Spa and were disappointed compared to our previous stay years ago. The rooms felt very outdated, with worn furniture, and the shower head barely worked — more like a faucet pouring over your head. The restaurant/bar was also closed and under renovation, which was not disclosed at the time of booking and was frustrating to find out upon arrival. Unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel anymore, especially since there are several other hotels on the same road that are more updated and priced similarly.

Was not made aware the bar was closed for renovations. Which meant the keg restaurant didn't serve any draft beer or cocktails. The food in keg was also not great. Order a brie and they substituted the toppings because they ran out. Was not good return this. For a family with older people and not been able to relax and have drink I. The lobby was not good. If I had been told this I would have book elsewhere. Also cleaners didn't clean out room service dorty dishes and the remaind on the ground outside the door for the 2 days we were there.
