This was one of my most memorable and special trips to date. The hotel exceed my expectations. The restaurant inside the hotel “Good Folk” was a 10/10! I ate multiple times at the restaurant. The scallops were so good I ordered them twice! Hot tub/fire pit area was great. Used it almost everyday. Location is just outside of the hustle and bustle of the main strip. Which was nice

Not enough descriptive words to accurately explain this wonderful establishment. The staff were incredibly helpful and kind. Our room was phenomenal with the Mountain View and the super cool no waste, custom coffee and tea program. The dinner at Gold Folk was so good we went twice. We were in the hot pools everyday and were able to chit chat with other lovely hotel guests. (The washroom after the pool was perfect to rinse off! Nice perk!). We enjoyed the hotel, staff, and city so much we added a night to our stay. Would highly recommend staying and eating here. Will hopefully be back!

Staff were friendly and helpful. Parking onsite was free and easy. Pet friendly hotel and the staff had a bed/food bowls set up in the room for my dog when we arrived. Nice touch to offer customized coffee/tea options upon arrival. Great stay!

Very lovely hotel - I travel for work and stay in a lot of hotels , I only rated this a 2 star for the reasons that I was very unhappy with a few things that caused me 3 nights of very little and uncomfortable sleep due to the gap around the door allowing a large amount of light in and noise , I ended up having to run to the dollar store to get a roll of duck tape to tape it off to get some sleep , the balcony light cannot be turned off either so very many light sources all night and also the pillows and bed are very hard and uncomfortable. Beautiful hotel and staff but sadly will not be back.

What an immaculate stay in the most beautiful part of Alberta! Banff is absolutely incredible, and the hotel matched the vibe of the surrounding area perfectly. Front desk reception was warm, friendly and they are masters at hospitality. The gesture of offering a canvas bag prepared with beautiful herbal teas, hot chocolate and coffee was a beautiful touch! Complimentary bus passes are offered by front desk, however downtown Banff is only a 20 minute walk away and it’s the cutest area ever. The hotel was serene, tranquil, clean and had a great ambiance. The restaurant attached, Good Folk, was delicious with a wide range of offerings on the menu! Quality food with lovely service. Our favourite part of the hotel was the rooftop lounge area with the mountain view backdrop!!! UNBELIEVABLE! Even better than their pictures show! Hot pools and fireplaces, with sauna space and towels are also offered. The gym was equipped with top of the line fitness equipment too. The room itself was clean, spacious and felt more like a mini suite than just a room! A well maintained and clean balcony is also attached and that was a lovely addition. Overall, excellent stay!!! Can’t express how truly happy we were with our travel experience and hotel accommodation. Don’t hesitate on booking with Otter Hotel, it’s everything an amazing hotel should be!
