Nice hotel, great friendly staff

As other reviews have said. It’s an older hotel so looks a bit dated. It’s perfectly fine though! Rooms are big and comfy. The staff are super friendly. It’s about a 20 min walk from downtown. If you don’t fancy the walk you can use the free bus passes offered at the hotel.

We loved our room, we can see the mountain through our balcony.The cleanliness was just average. We didn’t use much the kitchen but it was nice to have one. The staff was okay, polite and attentive.

We stayed at Rundlestone Lodge in preparation for my sons wedding. It was quiet and very restful which is what we needed as the trip had been a tad 'busy'. The underground parking was a pleasant and unexpected surprise which helped a lot. We hopped on the bus just outside the Lodge (using our bus passes issued from the Lodge) and went into Banff shopping area within minutes. It was much easier using the free public transport rather than finding parking in an unfamiliar town.
