The beds and the pull out sofa bed were comfortable. I liked that they texted us to check in and see if we needed anything. It was nice to have cleaning service each day as we needed it. Parking was packed- we had to pack aways from our place, that could be improved. Hot tub and bar on site was a plus.

We have been coming to this property regularly for the last 18 years and will be looking elsewhere in the future. They seem busy enough with the recent influx of tourists that they don't really need to keep people from nearby areas happy and coming back. The t/v and wifi wasn’t working and when we called the front desk they didn’t really seem to care. They offered an excuse and no offer to try to remedy the problem. The next morning when we checked out they shrugged it off. There are many new hotels in the area and we will be trying something new next time.

Water pressure was extremely low. And we constantly hear the noisy sound from some water pipes, don't know where it came from. A strange person knocked our door at 8:20am. Sofabed was sooo~ uncomfortable. Overrall, it is a mediocre hotel with bad value.

A lovely cosy lodge with a giant and very comfortable bed!! The bathroom was amazing and had everything we needed. Only downfall which is very minor and didn’t affect us. The room felt quite dark even with the lights on and there’s no full length mirror.

Beautiful surroundings, spacious room, comfortable and clean. Loved the L’Occitane soaps and the Nespresso coffeemaker. Unfortunately, the fireplaces are not functional. Lovely restaurant with excellent server. Only objection is that it is not well soundproofed so that overhead neighbors could be noisy. We slept well, though.

Highly recommended. Very pleasant mountain lodge vibe, with friendly and helpful staff. On-site restaurant (The Prow) was excellent for breakfast, lunch or dinner. King size bed was very comfortable. Bathroom had a large free-standing bathtub which was a nice surprise. All rooms have wood-burning fireplaces, which can be both good and bad. Romantic, yes, but the first room assigned to us had a strong "campfire" smell from the fireplace, so we asked to change rooms, and the next room was just fine. Guests should be aware that the lodge is in the Tunnel Mountain area, outside of town, which is about a 20 minute walk or 5 minute drive. The lodge is quiet and serene, which suited us, but you cannot step out the door and immediately wander among the endless restaurants and shops of Banff like you can at many other places in town. All depends on what you're looking for in a place to stay.
