When I first arrived I was given a room on the 2nd floor. All I saw out the window was the roof and HVAC equipment. I called the desk and i was changed to a lovely room with ocean view. Other than that I had no issues. This was my 2nd time staying here and I will return.

This was our first stay, and it was a disappointing experience. The hotel's immediate atmosphere was impacted by the strong smell of smoke and marijuana. The check-in process and interactions with staff were challenging; they seemed uninformed, and we felt a general lack of hospitality. This was most notable at the information booth, where the staff member was unhelpful and unfriendly. In contrast, the employee at Ruby's was knowledgeable and provided much-needed information. While the location near the boardwalk was excellent, the service did not meet our expectations for the price. The room was average; although the beds were comfortable, the sofa had noticeable stains, and we would have appreciated more pillows and blankets. Overall, we would not stay here again or recommend it.
