Here at Island Beach and Racquet Club, spend your days walking on the sand, enjoying a wealth of on-site amenities, and unwinding at golden hour on your screened porch overlooking the ocean.

Island Beach and Racquet Club boasts fantastic facilities for your use, including oceanfront swimming and wading pools, tennis and pickleball courts, a fitness center, grilling areas, a playground, and a sound access walk to the Intracoastal Waterway for fishing and crabbing. Beyond the resort, you'll be close to Atlantic Beach Town Park (one mile), the North Carolina Aquarium at Pine Knoll Shores (three miles), Fort Macon State Park (five miles), and downtown Beaufort (nine miles).

Take the elevator up to the third floor to be greeted by tasteful, understated furnishings, sunlight streaming in through a skylight overhead, and a beautiful view of the ocean out back. Mix yourself a cold drink at the wet bar, prepare a few appetizers in the sleek kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and step out onto the screened porch to relax in the sea breeze.

Never Stay Here!

No vacay that's for sure. At our arrival, the condo was dirty. All appliances, lamps were unplugged. The temperature was set at 64 degrees. It was cold. We soon find there is no tv or internet. We call vacasa and got the password but no tv for the rest of the week. The vacasa people showed up on Monday or Tuesday to take a look at the tv. No dice, couldn't make it work. Then they had to saw the door to the laundry to get in.the middle part of the week was filled with texts phone calls with a lot of unkept promises from the staff. They also wanted us to stay there for Spectrum to come and fix the tv. We were there for the bug guy to spray too. Vacasa finally met spectrum on friday afternoon. So our last afternoon we spent with vacasa and spectrum folks in our rented space. Vacasa promised to give us a credit 20 to 30 % was what we were quoted for all the inconvenience and only gave a $167 credit. Lastly, there was a pair of name brand jeans left in the dryer. Called to ask for them and of course they say they were not there when I know they were. Save your time and money, unless you want to deal with vacasa for a week. Never stay here!
