"Everything was ok besides the fact that the carpet was still wet from a previous cleaning and the heater was left on a blazing 84 degrees before I arrived."

"Non-working hot tub, sub-par breakfast, dirty carpet throughout, broken thermostat housing and wall plugs in the room, moldy bathtub and ceiling (no exhaust fan), and cobwebs on the fire sprinklers in the room. I did ask for a partial refund but according to the Hotels.com staff member that I chatted with, at the hotels recommendation, they were unable to reach the hotel. A front desk member instructed me to reach out to Hotels.com and that they would contact the hotel to initiate the refund. I have heard nothing back and was still charged the full amount for the room. We will choose somewhere else to stay on our next trip. "

"The hotel was clean, modern and comfortable inside. From the inside it seemed like a really nice hotel. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast was a little disappointing. The neighborhood is pretty bad. We were planning to walk to some of the places nearby, but we ran into a lot of homeless people on our walk. There's a mcdonald's with a late night drive through right next to the hotel, and there was a lot of noise due to the customers and hobos hanging out there. Overall I give this hotel a good score, because it was really nice (apart from the neighborhood) and the concierge earns the hotel an extra star all by herself. Just don't plan to stroll around outside. "
