Very clean and convenient to local areas, but some of the staff were super unfriendly. They acted like they didn’t want to be there.( zero smiles). They made me uncomfortable when I talked to them. Their cleaning staff were the best .

Very basic hotel, which serves its purpose if you are in town for 24 hours. Very basic service, housekeeping only upon request, you have to do everything yourself. Breakfast is in paper plates and cups. Drinks were still on the tables outside from the night before: it was 11:00 am the next day. Staff are generally friendly though. It’s also by the highway so you hear the cars, the train and everything else.

Clean and spacious room, easy parking options comfortable beds. Centrally located to everything around Davis and was a 6 minute drive to campus. They have bike rentals that you can rent to go around town. Highly recommended this place if youre moving in your kid to UC Davis and have the whole family with you!

The staff were very helpful and friendly. The property was clean and all the amenities were easy to access. The complimentary breakfast was nice, clean and sufficient. The only issue was the bathroom door and the stove needed to be repaired. The hotel staff took care of it right away.

Nice Location, that's it!

This is our second stay here, but not because we loved it, just because it's the closest to my daughter's college apartment. They badly need to renovate the carpet. We stayed on a different floor the first time we stayed and this second time, but the carpet in the rooms are worn out on the edges and needs to be replaced or repaired. The shower doors won't close properly and keeps sliding open while showering ( this happened on the 2 different rooms we stayed at), We had to put face towel as a stopper to prevent the shower doors from sliding open. What I hated the most in this hotel are the power plugs in the room which are motion sensor, meaning they turn off every 30 minutes. My wife and I both use CPAP and we kept waking up because our CPAP kept shutting down. We didn't notice the sticker that said the outlets are motion sensor powered. Whoever thought of doing this didn't think well enough. Also, the housekeeping service is terrible. The first time, they didn't clean our room. The second time, they just replaced our towels and didn't clean our room, and despite us notifying them that we are out of the liquid shower soap, they didn't refill it. This hotel has a nice location, but needs a lot renovation, maintenance, and improve housekeeping service.

Property looks clean and nice. 1. Few things I noted are breakfast timings should have been until 9am than 8:30 in weekdays. 2. May be this is the model Hyatt house works but no drinking water in side the hotel room and when asked, staff did gave them as favor and by saying they are not charging for the water :( than thinking it is basic need for whoever staying there. 3. No room service unless you ask. So no by default room service option.4. I always make sure to book a hotel that includes free breakfast, free parking and family friendly. But they charges $4 per day. When asked, staff suggested to see the parking pass for the price. In general in all hotels I stayed since few many years and these Parking passes are to ensure they are related to the guests unlike chargeable. 5. I also felt staff is more of this is what it is mode vs listening to the customer voice and felt like with my respectable inquiries making them inconvenient :). 6. We all family members were sweating in the night with not having enough AC or proper air vent. Overall, if I prefer to choose this hotel, will choose only for the reasons are it is convenient location and nice beds to sleep.

I was unaware I needed to request my room be cleaned. I returned after a long day of attending a funeral and the bed was unmade- towels on the floor where I placed them in the morning- when I spoke with the staff at check in they asked in a surprised tone, “oh , you wanted your room cleaned?” It was taken care of the next day. My husband suggested we get a hamburger at the counter in the lobby as we had read a small bar menu was available, but we were informed they only had soup and hash browns. It would have been nice to have known that before hand. The included breakfast was extremely modest- no fruit of any kind.
