I did not like thinking from the advertising that I would be getting a nice property near an airforce base and instead getting converted barracks. I would not have booked an old repurposed building on purpose.

We were here for a week for a family vacation. We LOVED the room, the grounds, the atmosphere, the neighborhood, the staff, the pool, and the service. It’s an old Air Force base turned into a hotel and it’s modernized but true to the Art Deco style of the time. I only wish my room had a bathtub, but the little kitchenette was a nice surprise. The bed was wonderful. There was very little noise from adjoining rooms. The walkways were quiet, treelined, and charming. We didn’t use the bar onsite but it looked warm and welcoming. The choices at the restaurant were limited but the prices were fair and the staff was exceptional. The pool and hot tub surrounded by outdoor seating was really nice. This will be a yearly tradition for us.

The room was great visiually, clean, and comfortable. It was difficult getting the temperature right at night. The room was pretty warm. It was in the thirties and we ended up running the air. The beds were a little firm. Restaurant was good. Food was really tasty.

Older hotel, reminded me more of a motel.

Pros: On site dining
Hotel was fairly clean. Parking was not that good, and no elevator to get luggage upstairs in the building we were located.
