Only property around with indoor pool but had too much chlorine to enjoy. Son’s eyes became red almost immediately and then began to burn. Looks like the hitel is in the middle of renovations with some things updated but others, like the carpet, were in need of replacement. Wonderful breakfast in the morning though and kitchen area kept super clean with a very kind hostess who never let anything empty.

Nice place recently remodeled. Bathroom door locked but wouldnt latch to stay shut. The heat/air unit on fan only had a slight smell not sure what that was but hopefully they will address it. The room & bathroom were clean & the entire 2nd floor smelled fresh. Pool could have been warmer & hot tub a little hotter but still nice. The staff was very nice & helpful. I would stay again!

shabby and not clean

Pros: not much
Cons: just about everything....more security at pool and gym area
room wasn't cleaned, a/c unit filter was filthy, mold in bathroom and not cleaned daily; comforter was shredding ; not vacuumed daily. generally SHABBY. I told front desk of condition and only thing attended to was a/c filter breakfast was good and adequate and staff diligent.

did Not stay

We were able to check in by 1p. We were in town for a funeral and we checked out later that same day. We did not use one of the rooms at all.

The hotel has a dampness that permeates the rooms, like the carpets have just been shampooed. And some of the staff were way too personal and made us feel uncomfortable. Borderline stalking from when early morning to when we got back late at night. I would not recommend this hotel.

good accomodations for price

Hotel is doing some remodeling of which I only saw signs but no actual work being done. I was on the third floor in a handicapped room, which surprised me because I would think this room on the first floor. I do not have any disabilities, so maybe it was the only single room available? The shower was extremely difficult to use, which I didn't find out until I was actually in the shower, so unable to call for assistance.

Loved...Loved...Loved it!

We were welcomed in like family. The staff was wonderful. The room was clean and beds were comfy. It was 41 degrees outside and my grand daughter was swimming in the indoor pool! The breakfast was fresh and selection was plentiful! Coffee was perfect. There was a great Mexican restaurant across the street that we had walked to and shopping was convenient as well. Need I say more!

Pros: I liked the location close to shopping areas
Cons: New bed spreads. They had some wear to them
Location: Close to Walmart and some fast food restaurants.
The hotel staff was friendly. Breakfast was good. Checkout was smooth and it was quiet all night.

Functional

Pros: Location and comfortable beds.
Cons: The attitude of the assistant manager. The rest of the staff that we encountered is hardworking and service minded.
We have stayed at this hotel periodically for a number of years because of its proximity to family, reasonable cost, reasonably comfortable rooms, and indoor swimming pool. The pool is a favorite of our grandchildren. A few years ago the sleeping rooms were updated. The breakfast was always simple, but satisfying. For the first time in our many stays we had issues with the check-in, the breakfast, the pool, and a member of the staff. Check-in was an issue because their computer system was down, but the young man at the counter successfully and politely made his way around the problem. Breakfast had no eggs "because of the bird flu". (We went to the store and brought our own hard boiled eggs.) The bacon was basically fat floating in grease. The single waffle iron couldn't keep up with the crowd. The pool is posted "toilet trained children only" and the assistant manager decided to enforce that rule despite swimming diapers on 3 small children. Perhaps she should post that on the reservation sheet if she plans to exclude families with small children from the pool.
