The entire building is ripped apart except one floor. The remaining floor looks horrible, which explains the remodel - however, the post does not warn you that the building is being remodeled, and I don't think it's worth 200ish a night for an incredibly ugly room on a construction site. The staff was fantastic and the room was very clean.
