Beautiful place to stay. But for those who like tv and air conditioning it has neither. The lodge was beautiful with fantastic views and good restaurants. I would stay there again.

Pretty, but..

A little too warm without air conditioning. The restaurants are overpriced and they ran out of things we wanted to order.

Gorgeous Setting

Pros: The setting is the main appeal of the lodge. We were in the cabins which had two very comfortable Queen size beds.
Cons: The windows should be replaced in the cabins. They are hard to adjust and definitely need to be opened as far as possible as there is no air-condition
Location: Great hiking and super road biking. Kayaking available at Colter Bay, 5 minutes from lodge. Raft trips also available on Snake River about 1/2 hr away
The views from Jackson Lake Lodge are breathtaking. The lounge area on the second floor is a wonderful place to kick back and marvel at the setting of the lake with the Grand Tetons in the background. The grill has the best breakfast I've had in a long time. The food at the Moran Room was not up to the hype but views were wonderful. Will definitely return.

Terrible Housekeeping and Dirty Room

Pros: We only like the view from the lobby.
Cons: A lot of thing they can improve, especially housekeeping.
The sofa and table in the room were dirty. Housekeeping was bad. One room, we found that the bottle of body lotion was empty at the first night. When we left in the morning, we opened the cap to remind the staff to fill it . When we were back to room at night, the cap was on the bottle. However, the bottle was still empty. On the other room, the new bath cap was not given at the second night. The toilet in one room was also terrible. The overall rating of 2 was given for the view from the lobby. We are very disappointing.

Ok for nps lodging

Cabin was well appointed, beds comfortable Meals, there's the pioneer room which we highly recommend, cute retro interior, decent food. Other restaurant, mural room, would not recommend, overpriced for the quality of meal. We had trout that was dry on a bed of corn and edamine - scale of 1-10, it was a 2. Salted prime rib was tasteless, bland, no seasoning, scale of 1-10, it was a 3.

A View worthy of the Trip

Pros: View, friendliness of the staff, food at diner, quality of goods at the gift shops.
Cons: Fans in cottages
Location: Beautiful view, close to attractions inside park, hiking, fishing, horseback riding, etc.
What a wonderful experience. We stayed in a classic cottage which has a camp feel which is what we expect staying in a National Park. However, when it comes to the main lodge are, we were blown away. The view from the main lodge of the Grand Teton mountain range is exquisite. I can't imagine another facility having a better view in the area. We would definitely recommend and will return!

Pros: Great views from the main hotel.
Cons: More amenities in the cottages.
Location: Great focal point for various activities.
Excellent location. Old money establishment. Cottage did not have the basics: TV, air conditioning, refrigerator, microwave, etc. that you would expect with the 4 star rating. Even with a discount, the price did not reflect a good value. However, the price/value did not appear to be a deterrent as most of the cottages were occupied.

It's inside the park with beautiful views from the lobby. We stayed in the king patio which is like a little cabin. Be advised though, there is no ac, and no tv. It was cool enough at night to have the Windows open that we didn't miss the ac. And after a busy day in the park, we didn't miss the tv either. Really felt like camping in luxury. Price is a little expensive but I feel for the location it was acceptable.
