The camp grounds were clean and unique. I stayed in a tepee with a cot and you get linen for an extra charge. Bathrooms provided showers with shampoo and body wash., and changing area. You need to bring your own pillows and sleeping bags. It’s a little roughing it so be sure to bring the necessities like mosquito repellents. Overall it was a good experience, I’d go back but more prepared.

We loved staying here. Such a beautiful location! Our kids loved staying in the covered wagon (and so did we)! Its fun having a different experience than a standard hotel. The beds were very comfortable.

Check in was super unhelpful, the map we were given was more confusing than just not using one. The bath house/restrooms aren't marked so we wandered around until we took a chance on opening the door to a trailer. The cots in the teepee were comfortable, but you have to pay extra for pillow cases and sheets? Super tacky. Don't stay here unless ypu come with blankets and a flashlight. We arrived at dusk and used our cell phone to set up the cots, until the battery died. We asked for a cup of hot water at the cafe and got a speech about National Park rules. We offered to pay for the cup, but the owner/manager (not sure who this guy was) said to talk to the server and walked away. He was super proud to let me know how much he spent on making his house "green" though before he left us at the counter. (We got a cup at the general store for free AND properly recycled it when finished). I understand tourist fatigue, but this business needs to be reminded that we're not all yahoos, and that without us, there is no them.

The bath facilities were not stocked . Fortunately we read that in the reviews and were prepared. The location was extremely difficult to find as no had heard of "Buffalo Valley Ranch" but it was known as Heart 6 Ranch. Had the advertisement indicated that we were responsible for bringing our own blankets it would have made for a much better nights' sleep. THE STAFF WAS AMAZING AND WOULD DO ANYTHING FOR YOU. I would return, however next time much better prepared.

We loved our night in the wagon. We booked 3 different hotels, and the others were fancier, but it was our favorite night. The views are fantastic and so fun to wake up to. The bathrooms are shared, so you have to expect it to be like a campground bathroom, although it's a little nicer. The cafe was so delicious - everything cooked perfectly! You have to rent linens, so either bring sleeping bags and pillow cases, or you just rent the linens. That was easy. Great experience! We'll be back.

Guy at check in was interesting character...told me we were except from a $15 per person linen fee...we were “special”! I knew he was being full of bologna...but went with it! I was handed a canvas bag that had bed linens in it and told that I needed to make up the beds...I wasn’t too worried about this! Went to the wagon...which was just that. Wagon...but did have a propane heater which we didn’t use and a couple of small ceiling lights! Upon opening the bag...I noticed the sheets were crumpled and just figured whomever did the laundry didn’t want to fold...again not a huge deal! But as I continued to take pieces out...I kept noticing dirt, hair etc! I shook everything out...but as I got further in...there were also wet towels mixed in! And then when I got down to the bottom I find folded sheets! My guess is someone didn’t feel like cleaning. This bag and they gave us a bag of previously used sheets! Gross! I would also say...using a shopvac and vacuuming the mattress would be nice! They do not have any sort of mattress cover and the mattresses had dirt all over them! And possibly washing the comforters when they are visibly dirty! It is a covered wagon and a cute idea...
