Can't make same day reservations in the restaurant and we were place in a separate building then the main hotel as requested. Additionally, booked 3 rooms and we were unable to be together or on the same floor for the rooms. Rooms were not ready at 430 when we checked in, only one room was available.

Good Experience and stay. Desk Clerks, Bell Hops, Cleaning Staff, Deli Staff and Boutique Store Staff and Bartenders performed well. Restaurant Staff, Hostess, and Dining Room Managers were Ignorant. Waited over an hour for our food. Steak was cold and Scallops were overcooked. Very Basic Cooking techniques any Educated Chef and Sous Chef should know. I’m a Pastry Chef for over 35 years.

The staff was not helpful at all. The food was not good and very expensive with very little options. The rooms had no air conditioning. NO WIFI. The lobby furniture was old and dirty. However, live music was great.

Staff and interior was great. Exterior needed cleaning from spiders and starling bird mud nest all over. Food was marginal and expensive. Bring your own. Lake was beautiful.

Our room was not very clean (dusty furniture and crumbs on the carpet). Told the staff and they said they would send someone to clean but that never happened. There is no internet and no TV. On the positive side, the beds were comfortable. Would not stay here again.

I did not like the fact that there is no Wi-Fi at the hotel, no air conditioning, and no TV in the room. It was very warm in our room, 71°, and the window only opened 3 inches. There was no mini fridge, and no microwave. When people are traveling, it is nice to have those amenities in the room because they frequently have leftovers. The lack of coffee is another thing, some strange contraption in the rooms for making coffee, and if you wanted one from the lobby, you had to purchase it, even if you were a guest. And that’s just straight up coffee, no variation, no variety. The property is beautiful, and the room is spacious, and it definitely gives the feel of being at an old-fashioned up north Lake Lodge. However, due to these lack of amenities, I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend this hotel.
