Book a hotel near The Golf Garden of Destin, Miramar Beach

"Good air conditioning. Short walk to the beach and the community-shared pool and hot tub. Plenty of rooms and beds. Unfortunately the private pool is like a cold plunge. Even in the dead of summer it's probably as cold as one of those above ground pools without a heater. Unusable. Vacasa, the house's management company, was very rude on the phone when I called to say we were at the house 1 hour before check in and would like to get in. We had a large group of children of all ages and he said there was nothing he could do. Couldn't even call someone to the house to let us in slightly early. All Vacasa managed properties we've ever stayed at don't care about the customer, unlike places rented out by the owner, themselves. The Vacasa rep, Indian by the accent, hung up abruptly after 10 minutes of trying to trouble shoot with him. Vacasa must be the cheapest management company because I feel like so many properties are starting to take them on as managers. Rude and impersonal. The house itself is great, though."
