Check-in was smooth and easy. Hotel was clean and up to date. After checking in, we decided to leave and of course took the elevator. Once we pressed the button to go down to the lobby the elevator never came. We had to take the stairs. As we made our way downstairs, we asked someone that was apart of room service and she ignored us. We asked again and her exact response was "they need to reset it." I needed to wash our wet clothes after coming back from the beach and the hotel has a total of 3 washers and 4 dryers. Only 1/3 washers work and only 2/4 dryers worked. So of course there were people waiting for that one washer. The one washer that did work, was a front load washer and had a lot of mold in it. There were also lost socks and underwear lying around. As I made my way back to my room, the elevator stopped working AGAIN! That was twice within 6 hours. I got back to my room and my key card did not work. I brushed it off because I had 2. I kept both cards separated and kept the none working card in the room whenever we left. Our last night there, we got back to the hotel a little after midnight, once we got to the door of our room the second key card stopped working. My husband had to go all the way downstairs to get it reset while carrying a sleeping 1 year old. The overall stay was good minus the amount of working washers, the cleanliness of the washers, the elevator, and the keycards.

Our experience and improvements needed

Check in excellent. When we returned from dinner about 8:30 and tried to turn on tv all we could get was there he weather channel. The girl that originally checked us in came up and said something was wrong with the remote. She brought another up All of this took at least an hour. After adjusting the air before going to bed the ac was loud and cold air was blowing the curtains so that a lot of light was coming into the room. There was not a restaurant for breakfast. The driveway coming into the parking lot was extremely steep coming off a busy highway and cars were blowing horns at us when we were trying to maneuver our way into parking lot the hotel staff was excellent. I think we could have gotten a better price any other hotel then what we paid for this. The ad said it was four stars. We expected a lot more then this.

A little pricey for a non-holiday weekend

Pros: Close to the beach
Cons: Room service every other day at a minimum . .
Location: Brusters Ice Cream :) The Melting Pot Restaurant next door.
We had a very basic room, 2 queen beds. Overall the room was clean, but the smell of curry was overwhelming at times in the room,from the previous guests cooking in the room (or reheating in the microwave). We had to change beds in the middle of the night as the mattress was very uncomfortable (fortunately there was another bed in the room). The reservation does not include room service, so you will have deal with getting your own towels from the front desk and as in our case no bedding exchanged for the entire beach vacation (5 days).

Front desk people was excellent!

Very nice place clean friendly front desk people. Wonderful place to stay great location. very nice clean bathroom and bedroom. Me and my family had a very pleasant stay.would definitely recommend this place to stay with great atmosphere.
