Nice but needs some improvements

Really convenient having a shuttle available from the airport. The hotel was nice and clean, however I did have problems with the toilet running and not flushing. I had to pull the lid off the toilet to pull the chain to get the valve to close. Then when I went to take a shower, I had no hot water. The water was barely luke warm. The breakfast was ok but it wasn’t hot either. Cool eggs, sausage and potatoes.

Pool needs better cleaning. There was a lot of seeds from the trees at the bottom of the pool and surrounding chair area. There was also a lot of bird feathers floating in the water. Other than that, everything else was awesome!

Great airport location

Second time staying, convenient airport location, shopping nearby. Staff helpful and friendly. Parking limited, $10/N in multi-storey. Breakfast good, lots of options. Far too much plastic waste but that’s an American problem they seem unwilling to address. Check in/out really good. Air conditioning unit was noisy.

Everybody working on this property was friendly and helpful, the accommodations were clean and we had a great stay. The continental breakfast was rotating so it wasn’t the same thing every day, which was great. Would highly recommend.

My spouse and I were looking for an overnight stay with an early morning flight out of Tampa. We were pleasantly surprised to find The Hampton Inn & Suites at Avion Park to be close proximity to the airport, roomy and comfortable room and friendly staff waiting for us. We will definitely return.
