The suite itself had a smell to it we had to buy some air fresheners. some of the lights went out our second day there. Only one trash can in the bathroom none in the rest of the suite. Overall the stay wasn't terrible but was average for a doubletree hotel.

I would have given 5 stars, but they didn’t clean our room. We had to call down to the front desk, just to get clean towels. But other than that issue, everything was good. Upon arrival, the staff was very friendly. The room was spacious, comfortable and clean. We would stay there again

The staff provided wonderful service, with Mr. Patel standing out for his exceptional hospitality. My only minor suggestion would be to vary the breakfast menu, as it was the same each day during my week-long stay.

Hotel was nice overall and facilities were well kept. Pool was warm and a nice outdoor area to relax. Suite room was really nice but the bathroom was a let down, only half remodeled, old skinny tub with stained tiles and chipping paint, but with a nice new vanity and back-lit mirror. Why not do the whole thing?

Room was decent, but bathroom water smelled horrible. Like sewage. I had to use a water bottle all week to brush my teeth. Front staff was rude upon arrival, we had questions and he acted as he if was too busy to be bothered. The restaurant had good food but depending on which bartender/server you had determined the service you received. 1st one was great. Made great drinks and paid attention, 2nd one seemed annoyed that we showed up was more concerned about people at the bar, may need another lesson on how to make a dirty martini dirty. My water showed up brown. Last one was very nice by this time I just ordered a soda.

I had a really great stay at the DoubleTree Rocky Point. From the moment I checked in, the staff made everything easy and welcoming—and yes, the warm cookie definitely helped set the mood. The hotel sits right on the water, which gives the whole place a super relaxed vibe. It’s the kind of spot where you instantly feel like you’re on vacation. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, which made it easy to unwind. The restaurant and bar were solid options, especially with those waterfront views. I also loved the pool area—it’s calm, scenic, and perfect for hanging out in the Florida sun. The location is convenient too. Close to the airport and an easy drive to both Tampa and Clearwater, but still tucked away enough to feel peaceful. Overall, I’d happily stay here again.
