The staff and the room were excellent. It was very convenient for going into the town and for going to the university for my grandson’s graduation. We also went into the bar in the evening and the service and choice were excellent.

The front desk person was very welcoming , the room is spacious and clean, however the waitress at the restaurant was unnecessarily rude using hand gestures as we couldn’t wait any longer on the check we ask the hostesss to charge our room she snapped by saying the waitress is busy , that is not the behavior I expected it. Definitely nice hotel but the waitstaff needs some training on customer service

The room was fine, though the shower handle needs repaired, it was incredibly loose. Requested a room close to the elevator, which it was, but that put us on the third floor which meant walking around to the conference elevator which makes the walk (the whole point of being close to the elevator) even longer. Also, exterior signs to the left of the building lead to the lobby doors, which were locked when we arrived. When I called, instead of sending someone to let us in after a very long walk with all our gear in freezing weather, they made us go back and around the other side of the building. Don't have signs to doors that aren't open. The room was clean and comfortable.

The room was clean and the check-in staff was friendly. If you are planning to primarily be out-and-about, this would be a good fit. My main issue was with the reliability of the internet connection. I was there for work and had issues with the wifi going out on both my work laptop and personal laptop when in my room. I was on the top floor, so distance from the router may have been the issue, but when a hotel offers convention spaces and hosts conferences, it is fair to assume that those staying in the rooms will need access to emails, work documents, etc. The hotel was clean and my room was nice, so my rating may change depending on your reason for staying.
