Cozy and cute, Pine Cone Cabin is centrally located in the quiet Black Bart neighborhood. Minutes away from Heavenly Ski Resort and central to all outdoor activities in South Shore. Quiet and tranquil, the cabin has a pleasant, sunny front deck to BBQ (propane) or just to read a good book.
You enter into the main level which includes a well stocked kitchen, cozy living area and dining room space. There is a bonus room set up as a sitting room with a TV, perfect if you want the kids in a separate room. (The living room does not have a TV.)
Upstairs, the master bedroom has a queen-sized Tempur-Pedic bed, work space and a small balcony. The second upstairs bedroom has a queen-sized bed and bunk bed. The lower bunk is full-sized, upper is a twin. It's a great family friendly bedroom.
From the cabin it’s only 3.8 miles to the California Base Ski Lodge and 4 miles to Heavenly Village. It’s a 10-20 minute drive to South Lake beaches.
In summer and fall it’s a great area for bike riding and hiking, with many bike paths and trails throughout the South shore area. There is mountain biking nearby too.

We have a security camera outside the entry door monitoring the entrance and driveway. Especially useful to assure the driveway is clear of snow in the winter.
When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared.
Our snow removal crews work every day, but we have no control over the county road snow plows that clear the roads.
4WD and or chains are always recommended. If you come in a small, low profile vehicle you may have difficulties.
Tahoe has experiences frequent power outages during snow, rain, wind events. We provide lanterns, but sometimes they disappear (or batteries vanish)
