"This house is exactly as described in the listing, and the proximity to great hiking and Pioneertown was perfect for our weekend away with friends! Being able to walk to/from P&H’s and Red Dog is a rarity unless you’re at the motel, and not having to use our cars much was so nice. The house was cute and well decorated, and had everything we needed for our home cooked meals and snacks, and we loved stargazing in the backyard. Our only critique was that the hot tub jets weren’t working, and then the second night the hot tub heater seemed to be off. It was still warm from the previous night, but the temp was in decline and was not 103 as set and listed on the panel. This could have been due to a flipped breaker or blown fuse perhaps, but it had power so we weren’t really sure and didn’t feel like trouble shooting that late at night. Overall this didn’t dampen our spirits too much. A great stay overall, great bang for your buck, and we’d definitely come back!!"

"We never got an email telling us how to get to the property or what the lock code was. I tried several times to text the host on our way and he never got back to me. We ended up finding the property on our own which took awhile and the neighbor was nice enough to call the property manager who gave us the code. Major hassle! Other than that everything was fine."
