The room was clean and the bed free of pests, shower worked great. Could use some updating, fresh coat of paint, new carpets. Did find some cockroaches in the bathroom that staff swore was water bugs. IDK. Place served its purpose and gave me a safe place to sleep for 2 nights.

It started off bad right from the get go. Over half the amenities did not work, or either werent there, as told, during our stay. For example; the ice machine and pool werent even functioning at all. The internet and tv worked half of the time. This is just the beginning, however. Upon returning to the room after our first day out, my phone charger was missing after the maid cleaned the room. At first, I gave them the benefit and thought maybe she moved it to clean, even though there was literally no reason to due to the location it was plugged into. So i asked several workers and the head manager/possible owner about it and they all claimed they couldnt find it anywhere including the maid cart. So i said, well my charger wouldnt unplug itself and walk away, there was also 0 reason for me to unplug it myself as its only use was to charge my phone at night. They acted like nothing happened and just told that they would call her and she replied she had no idea whay I was talking about. You would think it would get better from here, however, it gets only worse. The room was infested with all manner of bugs. Including stink bugs and roaches. Absolutely disgusting and they refused to do anything about any of it. I will never be back and i suggest you all stay away from this place.

Good for Budget

Smoky View Inn was a wonderful experience. My family and I have stayed here twice now, and already looking to book a room again in the next few months. The staff was real polite. The pool was small, but still fun for us ! Has a small kiddie pool as well. Free breakfast was nice. Had bagles, mini doughnuts, juice, coffee, muffins, cereal and toast . Great price for our budget as well! Another perk was being next door to Krystals and a gas station was a short walk. Motel has a trolly stop close by as well. Also a cross walk to get across the busy street close by. Motel is across the road from Wonderworks and Hatfield and McCoys Dinner Theater. Smoky View Inn not fancy, but a good basic motel!

Not Good!

Not good, but you get what you pay for. I’ll pay more to go somewhere else. I had to change rooms but not much better. Basically gave up as all other hotels around were booked.

Bathroom was dirty, toilet had feces on the toilet seat, towels still had other peoples hair stuck to them, and hair was hanging from the shower rod. The sheets were stained a yellow color. We didn't have a DND sign, housekeeping did tend to our room but it wasn't much better. Housekeeping walked in our room without knocking while we were there.

If you just need a bed to sleep in, it’s ok-ish. Small room but that was ok with me. It was pretty quiet overall. We had a king size bed. One side was fine but you can feel metal on the other side. The sheets seemed clean but the bed skirt had what looked like, um, bodily fluids on it. The floors were dirty and the bathroom sink felt like it had hairspray on half of it. I could’ve run through a sprinkler and had better water pressure, but, the tub was clean. The location was great, right across from Hard Rock. So, very convenient for the Jeep Invasion.

Its fine for a cheap place across from titanic

You get what you pay for, no frills. Hard bed, but cold A/C. It was fine since it was cheap. Probably bring a blanket cuz there blanket was kinda gross and the a/c gets very cold unless you turn it off. Free brekfast snacks and a small pool to get in

The staff were friendly and helpful and the location was great. The rooms are a little outdated but it was cheaper than more modern stays nearby. The only negative thing was the cleanliness of the room. The sheets were worn and actually had holes in them and the mattresses sagged and were stained. The comforters were my biggest issue, though, as they had dried bodily fluids on them in multiple places, on both comforters. No problem getting clean bedding but wasn’t
