Beautiful hotel... great activities for the family

The hotel was nice and the grounds were beautiful. The only downside was how confusing it was to navigate the property at first. Staff could have given us a map or more info. Pool was nice, water bikes were fun, surrey was a blast as well as the climbing wall. Staff by the pool were nice. The man with the bird was kind enough to bring the large colorful bird out to the car to show my son who never saw it. So thoughtful!

Room reservation

When I book a king room, I expect a king room - period. No staff apologized or even informed us prior to getting into the room that they would be unable to honor our reservation. I called downstairs, stating their must have been a mistake as we booked a king room. I was told they were all out, and I was "upgraded" to two full sized beds. Ha! An upgrade would be to place my husband and I in a suite. We were traveling alone - not with our kids for a business conference. If you are unable to honor a reservation that was made 2 months in advance then how do you expect to have a successful business. I have never been treated so poorly at any hotel - even international. I would expect something - an apology, an attempt to get me in a different room the next day, free breakfast, spa ticket, discount - something! Basically, If I was not attending a meeting there I would have left the first night. And to add to that extremely hard beds and pillows.

The best resort in Orlando. Pool was awesome!

We stayed for 5 nights. Didn't want to leave. Enjoyed the pool, hemmingways, room service, pitch and put, bikes and more! Well worth the 25.00 resort fee.

The staff were polite. They were very attentive and cordial. The hotel itself was immaculate., so clean. So many activities to do and some downtime at the spa.

Best bang for your buckbfornkids and parents!

This place was fabulous, very clean, much here to accommodate adults and children in one happy place. Excellent deal! I didn't want a kiddie only resort bcuz I have one teen and one eight year old. I have stayed at resorts where they charge u extra for everything including bike rentals. This place just charges $25 per night resort fee and u know that right up front and $17 per day parking. Even w those fees it is still great deal for the $ if you plan to stay around resort and need things to do. I would not however stay here and pay these prices if I was going to be at Disney world everyday. Anyway maid service was excellent, shower was up graded on our sixth floor room and th view was stunning. I have only one complaint, the elevators are slow! I will definitely come back here.

Beautiful hotel close to Disney

This hotel has beautiful grounds. It has a beach area and gorgeous pools that are open 24 hours. It's kid friendly without being Disney obnoxious. I took my 5 year old there and he thought it was really cool. The pool had a water slide and provided a life vest for him to go down the slide. The staff was super friendly and the location was great.

A beautiful adventure awaits!

Pros: Food, glorious food! All of it was fresh and delicious. The water slide was so much fun. Everything was spotless.
Cons: The tv was not so good. Difficult to use: ESPN was choppy , so we could only get certain channels.
Location: Disney, Seaworld, Universal Studios are minutes away. For hardcore shoppers, outlet malls galore.
The staff was amazing! The tiramisu from room service was divine. We absolutely loved all of the activities available. The smoke alarm went off the first morning, but the staff replaced it within minutes, which truly was the only negative. We are already planning our next trip.

The lake view rooms are exceptional. Pool is SWEET

Pros: travelocity
Cons: It would be nice to have a restaurant that is not so upscale to enjoy a quick bite to eat. A more relaxed setting to grab a burger, fries and a drink.
Location: This hotel is 1 mile away from Walt Disney World and a couple of miles from Universal and Seaworld.
From the moment you walk into the hotel you get the sense that this Hotel was the right choice for your trip. Even the elevator ride to your room is amazing. The view from the lake side rooms is breath taking. There is so much to see in this hotel. The pools are fabulous, great for kids and romantic for adults. Dinner and lunch at Hemingway's are very gourmet. No need to leave the hotel for a great meal. The hotel rooms are clean, spacious and very comfortable. Except the rooms with a King bed has a strange bathroom setup. I still prefer to have a door to close when using the toilet. It's all open and not very private when privacy is a must. I loved that you can open the balcony door and step outside to enjoy the fresh air. The complimentary shuttle services to the amusement parks came in very handy. The shuttle drivers are punctual and courteous. This hotel has is all. A+++++

Impressive Resort

Location: The hotel is at the entrance to Disney and very close to Sea World and Universal. Even the shuttle was impressive!
I recently stayed at the Hyatt Grand Cypress for a long weekend. The resort is very impressive from the moment you enter the grand lobby. The pool is massive and includes water falls, caves, and a water slide. The temperature of the smaller pool was a perfect 88 degrees. The grounds are beautiful with the sound of running water everywhere. They also have a small lake with a sand beach and boating. The room and bathroom were nicely updated. Housekeeping was excellent. I don't have a single bad thing to say.
