"The hotel is nice and has charm. It’s an older hotel that needs someone with an eye for detail. We felt that it needs some TLC with paint, wall finishing, and fixtures. It felt like the ownership took over from an owner who didn’t do anything, put some money into a few areas, and left the rest to be picked apart by guests as far as improvements. The hot tub didn’t work inside and the exterior one hadn’t been opened for what appeared to be an extended period of time. The AC didn’t work inside our room but because the fan portion did we didn’t realize the room wasn’t cooling till midnight. They switched our room for us but in the middle of the night after traveling all day was incredibly inconvenient. The parking lot sucks to navigate and feels like a confusing maze the first time or two. The breakfast was ok but I felt that I would’ve preferred to go up the street and had a better breakfast for the price. Our rate was around $200/night and by the time we left we felt it should’ve been closer to $135/night. The staff was nice. Id say if you get a deal with the price it’s worth visiting but not worth an elevated price."

"It was a very busy weekend for the hotel, and it showed with overflowing trash cans inside and outside. Our room wasn't vacuumed thoroughly, but the rest of it was clean. The hot food at breakfast was excellent. The only thing missing was some yogurt and fresh fruit other than oranges."
