The Yankee Inn
"Lovely, super clean unit with nice furnishings, however, the dining chair cushions need a good cleaning as the dirt could be seen. There also was candy/gum stuck to one of the cushions and another cushion was completely loose from the chair. There was mention of a "two-burner hotplate" in the description, ..."

"I was surprised that a quality group like IHG would let their room run down like the one we had, Rm 237. The bedroom and L/R were fine but the minute I walked in the door into a very old, 80's kitchen, i was disappointed. The bottom drawer of the stove was hang out and off its track, the kitchen ..."

"I had a one BR suite for 4 nights and it was a perfect amount of space for 3 people. Kitchen was very well-equipped and convenient to have for making simple meals and reheating leftovers. While all the cooking utensils/ basics were provided, remember to bring all your oil/ spices as I did. I can't ..."

"I really enjoyed my stay and will probably be back with my family. The room was great, pool and hot tub clean and the surroundings beautiful. A couple of things lost the star. First check in, while everything was ok the person who checked me in really looked like she didn't want to be there. I have that personality also which is why I'm not in hospitality. The room and facilities were great. A hiccup for me was I was with a group of friends that all had signs in their rooms that upon checkout the dishes needed to be washed, garbage taken out... and if we didn't might forfeit some money. We are in a hotel so this was rude to begin with. Since I didn't even have a sign in my room I might have lost money (I never saw the sign so don't know exact verbiage) There was a major power cut all day Saturday. Not going to lose points for that but it did cause some issues with key cards and the facilities"
