"There was plenty of adequate and safe parking at Fairfield Inn. Upon entering the Fairfield Inn, you are meet with the friendliest front desk staff. The breakfast buffet has something for everyone. From the fresh aroma of coffee, to baked goods, oatmeal with plenty of topping options, to making your very own plate-sized waffle. If coffee is not your preferred breakfast beverage, then you will have a variety of teas and juices to select from. I hope you all enjoy your stay at the Fairfield Inn, ad much as my family and I did. You definitely won't regret your choice of a home away from home, regardless of how short or long your stay may be. "

"We recently had the opportunity to stay at Hotel UMass in advance of an accepted students visit on campus. The communications we received from the hotel before our arrival were clear so we knew how to find the garage to know where to park. Hotel check-in went smoothly. Our room was clean, comfortable and well appointed. I loved the UMass themed decor on the beds. After a good night's sleep, we saw a beautiful view of campus outside our window. Breakfast was included and available in the lobby. Breakfast had simple offerings of cereals, pastries, bread, yogurt, and a make your own waffle station. Gluten free offerings were available. Dairy-free milk was also available. Upon check out, we were able to leave our car in the garage for the rest of the day, which was perfect while we checked out campus. "

"I can’t say enough about this property. Absolutely beautiful, clean, staff was friendly. Only bad thing was the parking very limited if there’s an event."

"The room was clean and comfortable. We picked this particular hotel because of the hot tub and pool. The hot tub was out of service and the pool Was freezing cold. Breakfast in the morning was ok."

"I’ll start with positives. The hotel was clean and the room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was very good and we liked that they changed the selection each day. The negatives, about an hour before we arrived with my elderly mother I received a text message informing me the only elevator was not working that day and would be fixed by the next day. We stayed three nights and it was still broken when we left. We had to climb four flights of stairs to get to and from our room. Things break, but we found out from staff that it had been broken for several days prior to our arrival and to not be told until the last minute leaving us no time to make other arrangements was upsetting. The stairs were very challenging for us and many others. On arrival there was a “bellhop” to assist with our bags. The “bellhop” was a small young child. He was very helpful but they needed to have grown adults carrying people’s heavy bags. There was no bellhop present at any other time during our stay. We called the front desk for assistance when we checked out and someone did assist us but we knew he wasn’t happy to be carrying our bags. Our refrigerator was also broken. We had planned to keep food in the room and when we let the front desk know we were told they couldn’t do anything to fix or replace it until we left. The front desk clerk that was there late afternoon/evenings was rude and condescending and made us feel uncomfortable any time we spoke to him. He had a terrible attitude."
