Baseball Weekend

We stayed at this property over Columbus Day Weekend for my son’s baseball tournament at Sports at the Beach. The house was perfect for our family of 6 to stay in. It gave us adequate room for each of us. The game room was a hit for our boys, the garage was a great place to store our bikes, baseball, fishing, and beach gear. I would stay at this house in a heartbeat if we have another tournament in the future. My kids are already begging to come back in the summer. Thank you for a great place to stay.

Overall it was good. Clean, close to the beach, nice neighborhood, fun game room downstairs. The negatives are worth noting however. The listing was misleading at times. "Extra bedding" meant extra sheets and one blanket. "Resort fee for amenities" refers to access to the clubhouse. It's not included in the rental. Also, the billiards table in the pictures is actually in the community clubhouse, not the private downstairs game room. It's clear the staff doesn't keep inventory of the kitchen because it had most things, but we were missing a pitcher (we used the blender). And good golly, don't let the kitchen get smoky because the smoke alarms WILL go off throughout the entire home, in all the bedrooms. They should switch the kitchen alarm to photoelectric. Oh, and a guy came in to do unrequested maintenance on our last day before we checked out, which was weird. He was nice and said he'd come back after we were gone, but you'd think they'd know when people were staying in the house.

Family vaca 2022

This was a great place for our family. Our dogs were comfortable and safe. Kitchen a little small as was the main room but the bedrooms were spacious and nicely decorated. We had everything we needed but and ice maker.

Great property.. but be advised

The property itself it outstanding; clean, comfortable, great location. Games in the basement were fun. Things you should know that aren't in the listing: 1 bath towel per person and parking is first come first serve., dart board doesn't have darts so wasn't able to use. Would rent property again.

Great getaway!

This property was everything that was described in the listing. The only downfall was we paid for the clubhouse/pool usage. It was spelled out in the agreement that the clubhouse was for guests/owners staying within the neighborhood. We couldn't use the pool, because it was overrun with someone staying on the property and his youth lacrosse team and all their families. That part was disappointing. Other than the pool, the house itself was great!

Abs outlet disgusting

The house is filthy. It was vacuumed or wiped clean. Toilets were dirty. Empty beer cans were left out. Surfaces were sticky Carpet is dirty, stained, and disgusting. Floors weren’t vacuumed. We left a day early it was so dirty. Call the property manager and emailed with no response until thr day we were supposed to leave. Very unhappy with the accommodations.

Great visit!

Great location, short drive to Bethany. House is quiet and comfortable and had everything that we needed. Kitchen is somewhat small, but fine for our needs. Carpets could use a deep clean, and sofa has some wear, but overall we enjoyed our stay.

Perfect beach house for a family vacation!

We really enjoyed our stay! The check-in process was simple and straightforward. The home came equipped with plush towels and linens and a fully stocked kitchen. The beds were extremely comfortable. The home even had dishwasher detergent so we could run the dishwasher a few times. There was plenty of space for a family of 5 to relax and unwind after strolling on the boardwalk and walking along the beach. (Bethany Beach is a short 7 min drive and Dewey Beach is 10-15 mins, at most) It ended up raining one day and we had a great time playing arcade games in the lower level game room. The home also came with fast wifi and several smart TVs so we could stream movies off Netflix and Hulu. Couldn’t have asked for anything more! We would gladly return. Many thanks!

Too small for the price to accommodate 9 people.

Experience bad. Carpet dirty needs new. Lower level no seating for more than 4 people to sit. Hard to enjoy with 7 adults 2 children. Called early to check in because of pouring rain. Wouldn’t allow for just 30 minutes. No air first night had to call. Overall will never use again.

Very comfortable t

Nice, big, very clean townhouse. Very comfortable for my family (2 young seniors, 2 young adults, 1 toddler and a small dog). Downstairs game room was a converted garage which was nice for storing our bikes and getting away from everyone to work on your laptop. It's about 3 miles from the beach. Nice walking and Bike paths nearby. (Minor complaints: smoke alarm went off repeatedly when using oven, screen door came off its track)

The property was clean and comfortable. The community amenities were fantastic. We ran into some issues with the TV and the AC but the property manager was quick to get things fixed and straightened out while not interrupting our vacation. This being said the location was slightly smaller than we expected and there wasn’t too many places to get away from the larger group.

Property was nice, and well maintained.

Property was nice, and well maintained and proximity was a bonus. I would give it 5 stars, however the initial description was not fully disclosed. For example, there was only one grill to use for the entire property. That was not mentioned in the online description. Also, to use the club house it did not mention the $8 per person per day. That was a disappointment. I personally think that all these extra fees was a rip off. Especially when we paid almost $3,000 for 4 days, which wasn’t even a full week. This should all be explained in detail... future renters should beware!
