"Room had a great ocean view even though it said partial ocean view. Lovely property. Room was clean, staff very hospitable. FYI cell service doesn’t work at all around much of Big Sur and neither does WiFi. "

"My family of 4 ( myself, wife, and two kids) booked for two nights only stayed for 10 minutes. The room smelled. Dirty bathroom, mold in the tub, ceiling peeling off, blood on the smoke detector. Sheets with stains. Went to the front desk to cancel the security deposit and refund the room because we are checking out. Dude got mad like I made it all up. There was no way we were staying there. Drove the extra miles to Salinas and stayed at the Best Western. Worth the extra time it added to visit the Eastern side of the Pinnacles National Park. "

"This property has a spectacular ocean view. The room is small, good for max 2 people. Breakfast is basic, orange juice, eggs & bread. Parking is perfect right in front of the rooms. There's no staff on site, just the housekeeper.It's just 30 mins away from Nepenthe Restaurant."
