It’s not a boutique. Old small elavators, popcorn ceilings, and could use some renovations on actual hotel. Bed and view was great. Outside space and pool was good. I would grade this a low “C-“ establishment. Didn’t like hallway areas and carpets throughout place. Overall , location was nice and beach waterfront view stay was good.

This is not recommended to stay here. There is only One employee that was pleasant, the rest were rude, no sense of humor or proper. The parking garage is across the street and several cars had their windows busted and we're broken into while we were there. There are no cameras in the garage or security to secure the garage. The staff showed no concern for those who had the cars broken into. The rooms smell like mold and mildew. The breakfast is the same thing daily and the staff is more focused on their phone than washing tables inorder to let people have a clean table to sit at. The bar and grill in side the hotel is over priced and the employee behind the bar was very rude and acted as if they didn't like their job. I was charged by Expedia and by the hotel for my hotel stay.it was hell trying to get my money back

We had a great time here. The property was clean, the breakfast was good. The two gentleman in the breakfast area did a great job of keeping everything stocked, fresh and hot. They kept a good variety and it was free so it saved me a lot of time, energy and money. The pool and hot tub weren’t too busy during our stay which was a concern of mine. Our girls had a great time. On our last day it did rain and we took the shuttle to their other properties to enjoy the indoor pools and water park. Bonus! The lady at the bar was friendly and upbeat. She had good non alcoholic mock tails and kid friendly drinks that my girls enjoyed. The front desk person I dealt with was friendly but I did notice better service to the person before me(explained everything to detail etc) but when it was my turn they just gave me papers saying this is what there is. (Amenities) that was a downside. Not sure why the same service wasn’t given to everyone equally. I did notice that with other guests as well. The room was a bit small but had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable and the washer and dryer was a blessing. The beach was perfect. Not too crowded on this end. I will definitely stay with this property again on our future trips to Myrtle Beach.

Very nice clean rooms and comfortable beds and nice people. Also had a small balcony for two with view of the beach. Bathroom was clean but basic. Found it to be quieter than neighboring hotels also. The hotel main areas are clean with a bar, breakfast area, tvs etc but small. The common area floors have the heavy duty indoor/outdoor carpeting but inside the rooms it was nicer. Notably “The Strand” is part of the “breakers resort” which allows for use of pool and hot tub (also kids slides etc) with your wristband at the “Courtyard Myrtle Beach Oceanfront” and other hotels considered part of the “breakers resort” group. Its a 10 minute walk down the beach to the Courtyard hotel it was nice to have access to an alt location.

Filty Hotel!!!

The hotel was filthy! From dirty floors in hallway and room to dried blood on doorframe in bathroom!! (I attached photos). Also i was in such a rush to get out if there i forgot to empty one of the d4esser drawers that contained 2 brand new pairs od shorts. When reported the exact draw that the itwms were left in i got a reply that nothing was found. So im guessing that the cleaning xrew stole them or threw them out. This hotel is a filthy disgrace. Dont be foolwd b6 the pictures!!

Family Stay

Breakfast was horrible, still operating on COVID-19 schedule. No full service housekeeping. However, they do change out towels. It would be great if they supplied rooms with brooms and dustpan because of the sand that’s tracked back into your rooms from being on the beach. Other than that everything was good.
