Like: the view was beautiful from my room. Air conditioning worked. Dislike: (1) room appear to be clean, but it had roaches in the bathroom (floor, tub). (2) Housekeeping NEVER cleaned our room the entire time we were there (beds unmade, trash never taken out, room never vacuumed). I complained twice at the front desk, yet every time I came back to my room, room was never touched. Had to call down to the front desk three times to ask for towels and wash clothes, eventually I had to go get them myself. (3) the bldg I stayed smelled of trash daily. The elevators smelled of trash also. The bldg stank so bad when you walked, everyone was holding their noses. Spoke with a manager Sunday night (Jason) complained about my room, and he had the nerve to tell me there was nothing he could do about my situation until he spoke with housekeeping. No compensation at all. Just awful. I will NEVER stay at the Sea Mist again. I rate this resort a 3.

I liked that it was oceanfront. The hotel was filthy. Was a old tube tv with a hole in the back of it. Beds were comfortable but husbands feet hung off edge of bed. Staff didn't clean room well. Hallways were covered in trash and needed to be swept. Elevator smelled like pee. Parking by hotel is terrible. Pools were dirty alot. Kids pool was nice. Arcade was okay but on the arcade on the strip is much better. Very outdated.

This property was absolutely disgusting. We book when we decided to take a last minute day trip to the beach, We wanted to enjoy our day fully so decided to get a room to stay and really wanted a Ocean view. We paid $274 for this room and I was absolutely disgusted from the time I step foot in the lobby until the next morning. Check in was supposed to be at 4pm and we got there after 5pm and was told our room was not cleaned yet and the best they could offer was for me to go check to see if the cleaning crew was done. Thank was only the first strike. Once we got in the room it was very old and dirty with a dead bug left in the bathroom, holes in the drapes and the view was the worst ocean view I have ever experienced. There were other guess sitting outside their rooms smoking and drinking as we walked through, I felt like we had been dropped off in the ghetto. The only reason we stayed is because we were told that we took a nonrefundable and we would loose out $274. We left and stayed out most of the night and only caught a few hours nap in the room before we got up super early to leave. I sprayed the room down in every corner with alcohol and Lysol in order to try to rest for a few but was very uncomfortable about the situation the entire time. This was the worst stay I have ever had in Myrtle Beach my entire life and we come down often. This property needs to be closed!

In serious need of renovations and policies. Older facility which woukd have bewn fine if the up keep would have been done. Staff and policicies need retrained and re thought

Liked the location. My room was old and disgusting! I didn’t want to touch anything. Thank God I only stayed for one night. Will never sleep there again.
