This place took my reservations and my money 6 weeks in advance but when I arrived, after a 10 Hour drive , they told me they had no room for me because they were doing renovations. They gave me no help in finding a new hotel room and as of now I still haven’t received refund for their mistake. They had no recourse for me and we’re very rude. The woman on the phone since there wasn’t anyone in the office hung up on me !! I’m very disappointed in the Mermaid Inn and Travelocity !!

Almost 200 for one night..the room was not worth it. Tv didn't work, the bathroom door was broken and toliet look old...just to na.e a few....

The beds are hard as a rock, we woke up and backs were killing us, the coffee pot in the room where the water goes has mold in it. And the bottom of the door has a huge 2-3 in gap in it, we had to use two pillows to shove in it, just to cover it so no one could put their hand under it or anything else for that matter.

Wall power did not work for blow dryer… called front desk x2 without results, ended up disconnecting off wall and using in a less than desirable room location without mirror. Wall mirror was broken and never got past just warm water for a quick shower, rug was all rolled up and room smelled musty

Completely five stars smaller hotel with the most friendly staff that were superb in everything they did very helpful very knowledgeable clean nice sheets and excellent bed

This place is horrible they are extorting extra money out of tourist that shouldn’t be getting avoid this hotel the staff has extremely rude nasty attitude and are always rude for no reason I wish o can spit on them .
