Vacation 2024

Very clean & spacious. Bed very comfortable. Door lock was horrible to deal with. I think it should be noted that the tub is like 18" deep to get into so that if a person has knee or hip problems it's not good. I am 80 yrs and my husband had to help me get in and out of that tub (very tough for senior citizens) other than that everything worked well & had no problems. Carolina Palms Vacation were great to work with.

Not what we expected

The stay would have been great had a tropical storm not been going on at the time and no refund or rescheduling was offered unless evacuation was ordered. Rained the 2 days we stayed, was supposed to stay 4.

It was ok

The resort wasn't very clean . Didn't go in the lazy river like i wanted because water looked green like there was no filtering system. Room was ok . Bathroom could have been a little bit more cleaner. Communication with host was pretty good. My husband for got his wallet and host tried getting a hold of cleaning person. Never did get a response back but we talked to a maintenance person on site and was able get his wallet back. Very important item as it contained his driver's license "hint needed to fly home " view from balcony was blocked by trees . Over some d

Old and moldy

Very old and outdated everything. Black mold in living room and bathroom. Door was off its hinges. I tried to contact owner/manager several times. I recieved one replay and it was of no help. Replied back to them and never heard from them again. Ocean view is completely blocked by trees. Building itself isnvery old and in poor condition. Pool was dirty.

You get what you pay for.

First, when you open the door you are smacked in the face with the smell of cigarettes. The smell is in everything, towels, linens...etc. Walking into the restroom, you find mold and mildew everywhere. Upon inspection of the beds, they were full of sand, and i don't think the floors had ever been mopped or even swept! Rent at your own risk!

Our condo suited our needs perfectly. My only thing was, was that on the listing in the email said the pool was open until 10pm however the pool actually closed at 9pm and our last night there the pool closed before 9pm. Which that had nothing to do with the condo or the Owner of the condo. My family and I loved the condo, and overall the resort itself was great!

Beautiful views and great location.

My husband and I enjoyed our stay very much. The condo was comfortable and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The views from the balcony were great and we loved being so close to the beach. Thank you for sharing your home with us. Would definitely stay again.

Bike Rally 2022

We stayed at the rental during Myrtle Bike Rally, I could not figure out how to get into my rental, apparently their was an email sent. After about 30 minutes I got a call from the leasing agent and got the code. The rental appeared cozy and it overlooked the beach. It was on the 1st floor over the pool area which was not the most peaceful place to be but the view was beautiful. Their were a few things that needed attention. The light in the bathroom flickered and the cover fell off not a biggie. I went to use the jet tub that was listed in the ad, after filling the tub, lighting candles setting up music and getting in.....the jets did not work. Nor did the 2 hot tubs on the property nor the lazy river. The floors were updated but that was about it, looked like someone had busted in the bedroom door at one point the furniture was chipped and old. Their was broken glass in between the refrigerator and sink. The biggest let down were....cockroaches! That was definitely a deal breaker. I threw out all my open food that was on the counter. The leasing agent has agreed to compensate us for the food and troubles to make things right. I'm not hard to please but was really excited to use the jet tub and am not a fan of sharing space with critters.

Great stay! Easy check-in, fast communication and problem solving

Just finished our stay here. If it weren't for the property needing little updates here and there, and the listing stating it sleeps 6, it would get a 5 star. In my opinion, 2 adults and 2 kids would be ok. More than that, you would feel claustrophobic. It is within walking distance of several restaurants and nice places to visit, should you prefer to not rent a car. Our living room AC unit went out the first day we were there, and within 5 hrs we had a replacement. They were very gracious and fast in their response time. The pools were clean and well kept, and check-in/check-out was super easy and simple. Loved our time there!

Overall pretty good

We had a great time and the kids enjoyed it which was most important! We really enjoyed the jetted tub! Not the cleanest of places. It is not as bright and pretty as the pictures. It's on the first floor, which I was not aware of. The vanity was small. Thank you!

Boardwalk Beach Resort

The room was smaller than I expected. When I booked we were originally going to have 6 staying but it ended up only being 4. This property would have been very tight for six people but worked for our family of 4. It is a tight space if using both sofa sleeper and Murphy bed. Bathtub had some mold around edges. No dishwasher. Room could use some upgraded and additional blankets for the beds. The one additional blanket looked very old and worn, thankfully my children had brought their own blankets. Had there been 6 people we wouldn’t have had enough for all. The room could use some extra hooks possibly on bedroom door or at entrance to the room to hang extra towels and swimsuits to dry. An actual place to hang a hand towel in the bathroom would be helpful too. The room is located at the end of the hallway near the trash chute so every time you leave or enter you are hit with an awful garbage smell. The room didn’t smell but the outside In the hallway was terrible! The overall property at Boardwalk wasn’t what I expected. It was run down and needed updating. The cleanliness of the pool area could have been better as well. Lazy river has no actual current to “float” along the River. Pools were often very dirty and the area around them had overflowing trash. The direct access to the beach was nice.

Myrtle beach 2022

This was a great small rental for me and my family. There were tons of sand in the rental already when we had arrived. Also the full sized bed wasn’t set up and we had to pull it down and put bed clothes on it. Another thing that was disappointing was that we paid a sufficient amount of money to stay there on a vacation of course the right thing to do when you leave a rental is to remove your trash, put soiled linens together, and remove personal items. We did not expect that we would have to do all of the housekeepers work before we left. It seems unfair that we basically had to clean the whole unit ourselves and do everything except the laundry. That is what the housekeepers get paid for, maybe the rental should not be so expensive if your gonna have your renters to your staffs job.

A good/decent stay

Our stay was rather decent. The manager was great at communication and was so very kind. The room was very clean and had a beautiful view of the beach. We wished we had parking instructions and since we didn’t we got a parking ticket. We parked in the only spot open. We figured it out and had to call the boardwalk place to ask about parking. The beds were not very comfortable at all. Make sure to bring pot holders, extra trash bags, and extra towels/beach towels. Otherwise, no other comments. The pools and beach were very easily accessed and the people were very kind there. Our child enjoyed the stay and had his own bed as well. We slept 3 although the listing says it’ll sleep six.
