Well we didn’t expect the full size refrigerator and we enjoyed the view of the beach from the balcony. The room had a smell to it and on the last day when it rain the parking garage had areas of rain coming through falling on cars (ours) which another lady and myself thought that was crazy being you are underneath and should be staying dry. Other than anything else, we had a great time and enjoyed ourselves and the room was more than we could have imagined.

The hotel was ocean front which was exactly what I was wanting. It wasn't a huge room, but was a decent size for my travelling party. The room was in dire need of updating; there was damage to the walls, furniture and appliances, but I personally was prepared for that because I had read previous reviews that said the same thing. As with most hotels, there was little sound proofing, but thankfully I was not there during a busy time, so it was not much of an issue. There were only two elevators that serviced the entire hotel and one of them broke down the day after we checked in, but it was fixed by the time we go back to the hotel that evening. Parking was tight, but we didn't have much trouble finding a spot. We were forced to leave early because of the mandatory evacuation for Hurricane Florence, but the hotel staff were very professional regarding the matter and refunded my money promptly for the nights we lost. Overall, it was decent for the price we paid.

I needed a vacation from work and decided to bring my boyfriend to Myrtle Beach, as he has never visited before, last month. We booked the hotel through Travelocity. When we arrived, we were advised that the room we booked was unavailable due to renovations. The front desk associate gladly allowed us to change rooms but it wasn’t the oceanfront view that was desired. In the interim, the manager, Cheryl Golobish, came out. While I was upset in the corner of the lobby, I could hear her taking control of the situation and seeing what she could do to accommodate us which I am so grateful for. Cheryl essentially moved mountains to ensure that me and my boyfriend could have the ocean front view we desired. She is truly amazing! Myrtle Beach holds a special place in my heart and after this situation, I will definitely return to this hotel. The hotel itself is in a perfect location that is close to many attractions. They are currently renovating so some rooms are older but are kept up well. I love that the kitchens were up to date! The hotel is also pet friendly.

Hotel right on beach. View was great

Enjoyed my stay very much. Hotel is a bit older but they are making improvements. Hotel was very clean an the hotel staff were really nice an helpful. It's a dog friendly hotel, no smells or fleas. Lol

Location: Real close to all the stores
I would have booked the room early maybe October maybe then the pool would of been open.
