So frustrating
The rental company Big Fish advertised pools. The word pools was listed several times in the ad. Upon arrival we found out that the pools were broken, and had been broken and not going to be fixed. I did not stay there. I had to get another room. VRBO did NOT HAVE MY BACK! I was told that I would be contacted by relocation people. That did not happen. VRBO said they would pay for a room for my family for that night. I got an email asking to select one of the listed resorts. I replied with my selection. The resort never was contacted. We didn’t finally get into a room until after 8 pm. I did everything the VRBO service people asked for and still got no results. I will never use VRBO again and I will be telling everyone I know about the situation. I gave plenty of opportunity to both VRBO and the rental company Big Fish to find a solution…none came. To be clear a cancer patient and a 7 year old were 200 miles away from home when all this happened. This was an all around terrible experience and my voice will be heard.
