The location was ok as it was not among the high rise district so it was more mellow. But there were many issues. The work-out room was inoperable, the TV had no service, front desk clerk said no maintenance person could chk it til morning, no coffee cups in room, shady people on parking lot, no fan in bathroom so moisture everywhere.

There's absolutely no soundproofing between the upstairs and downstairs rooms, and the rooms next door. The sound of fights upstairs in the early mornings is incredibly loud. Breakfast was really uninspired, and there wasn't anything worth eating.

If you want Wyndam points, book with the hotel

Did not have a chance to use the outside pool. The room and air conditioning was fine. The ONLY problem I encountered was NOT receiving Wyndam select points (or my check in gift) for this stay.

Pool was shut down, bed mattress could use an update. Lumpy and old. Meal choice at breakfast was typical low cost affair. Did have fresh fruit and cerals. No eggs other thwn hard boiled, had biscut and gravy and waffels. No proteins. I liked the staff and lobby area, rooms were clean. Gym was good. Lots of acesnearby within walking distance to eat all day and late night. Beach was a short walk easy walk. Nice area. Lots of things for kids to do as well in area.

The staff was great and very personable. Our particular room was across from the ice machine so we heard people throughout the night getting ice and the ice machine noises. The breakfast are was crowded and tight with only hard boiled eggs as an option for warm food with protein. They did have 3 iron waffles which was helpful but the syrup was contained in 2 large pitchers rather than individual packets. The rooms were nice and clean and the beds were comfortable for the night. I loved the location of this La Quinta and its proximity to the main strip by the beach and it was reasonably priced!! I would definitely stay here again but plan on going somewhere else for breakfast.
