Hotel is conveniently located near Atlantic Beach. Rooms and common areas are OK but could use renovations. Check in took a long time and staff are stretched too thin. $15 resort fee was not disclosed prior to checking in.

Overall was a good stay just a quick overnight. The only complaints would be the room floor was a bit gritty as if it wasn't cleaned well. The toilet had a moldy ring at the water line. Impression on that was the room hadn't been stayed in for a bit. It is a very nice hotel close to the beach access. Overall was happy, beds were comfortable. Staff was very pleasant. Would stay again would have just liked to feel a bit better going bare foot around the room.

The staff was wonderful. I can’t remember the name of the guy who checked me in, but he was super friendly. The room was clean and had everything I needed for my short stay. The only complaint that I have about the room is that you don’t have access to control the temperature in the room.

After falling asleep, I woke up in the middle of the night to the smell of old urine in my bed. I couldn’t sleep with the stench and had to move to the couch that night. When I investigated the bed in the morning I found the mattress pad had not been changed and had urine stains. I reported to the front desk before breakfast. The housekeeping supervisor apologized that she wasn’t on duty the day before for her normal inspections and would discuss with her staff.

Positives: We liked the location and Walt was very friendly when we checked in. Negatives: The toilet needed to be scrubbed with a brush and we could hear everything that the people next door were saying, the walls are thin.

The staff at check in were pleasant and helpful. The parking was convenient. The pool was nice. Access to the beach was a short 4 minute walk. Beach carts and bicycles are available on first come first served basis. The room was spacious with a desk, sofa, etc in the front and beds in the back. The bathroom was a little tight but the sink is outside the bathroom. The beds were comfortable. The ac unit was loud but kept the room comfortable. The breakfast (for a fee) was very limited so we chose to eat off site.
