When we got to the hotel it was nice, check in went great with Eloisa, tons of activities for guests. We got to the room and got locked outside in the balcony. turns out the battery needed to be changed. They sent an engineer moments later. It began making a buzzing noise in every 20 seconds. We took a video and had asked him to switch rooms but weren’t able to so they sent someone to try and fix it again. at this point, we are leaving for dinner. It was pretty late so we were hoping to get it fixed at that moment to not have to do it later and it wasn’t making the noise when the tech went up so he had to give him a call if it happened again, but we knew we’d be returning late so it wasn’t a great solution. We ended up having them take the battery out around 2 AM just to solve the issue for the time being. This was just inconvenient and disappointing as we. were there for one night to relax. We didn’t eat there and only had some drinks on the property which were nice.

I recently stayed at The Gates Hotel for two nights and found it to be a convenient choice, especially since we had friends staying just across the street. Although we didn’t spend much time at the hotel itself, it suited our needs perfectly for a short stay. The room was comfortable, and we had a good night’s sleep both nights.

loved everything about this beautiful property . From the beautiful aesthetics, art, very great customer service and how they text to check on you . Staff was so helpful and showed us where some places close by to eat and or shop at . loved how relaxing it was and clean. 10/10 I love the activities provided especially some free ones ☺️I will definitely be returning again whenever I am in miami .
