The Tony Hotel was very nice. It is dated as all of the other hotels in the area but it was very convenient, clean, was in a perfect location, and great staff.

Disappointed is all I can say only because most of the staff was so nice and accommodating but one person can just ruin your whole stay and mood!!! David was fabulous he was so nice and gave so many good recommendations. The other gentlemen were very nice as well some guy whose name started with an E at the front desk was nice and also the rooftop bartender was sweet. The housekeepers were sweet too. But what really ruined my mood was one night I went to the lobby to ask very kindly if someone was able to heat up my left over food since they have a kitchen and restaurant on site. This has never been an issue at other hotels I’ve stayed, people were always so gracious and willing to do so. Initially when I asked the people at the front desk were so kind and said yes but then a lady named Norma came from around the corner and completely shut them down and said no we can not heat up your food. I was shocked because the other people just said yes. And the way she said it was just so rude and for no reason. I didn’t know how to process it so I said ok and went back up to my room. Meanwhile I was very upset I had all this leftover food and was trying to figure out how I could eat it without wasting it. I called back down to the front desk and asked Norma again who just so happened to answer the phone if they had a microwave they could bring to the room and again I was met with a no. So with no microwave and no one willing to heat up my food in their kitchen that they have on site

We appreciate the kind comments regarding our staff and accommodations and apologize for the miscommunication regarding the use of the microwave. The Tony Hotel does not offer a public microwave for guests, and microwaves located in the kitchen are for internal use only, due to liability reasons. We apologize that a new team member initially offered you incorrect information; however, this was corrected quite promptly, thereafter. We did attempt to remedy the situation by offering you a 50% discount to dine at our restaurant, but unfortunately, that offer was declined. The dine-in offer did not include the use of microwave pending a purchase in our restaurant.

The hotel rooms were spacious and comfortable. The food in the restaurant/bar was delicious and the service was great. Overall, the service from hotel staff was exceptional. The pool area was a fun gathering spot and we enjoyed being able to have drinks poolside. The proximity to restaurants and clubs is amazing. The major negative was the street area outside of the hotel. It is full of people partying, loud music and an unsafe environment to walk until early hours of the morning.

I liked that the property was so close to the beach and included complementary beach chairs and towels. The room looked better in the pictures but was clean. The sheets maid my skin itch, it was awful. Had someone come change them and my skin still itched every night….maybe I was allergic to the sheets?!

The location was perfect. The staff was amazing and obviously LOVE their jobs. I will miss them and will return as soon as I can. I will definitely stay at The Hotel again!

Loved the rooftop pool and the views from pool over the beach. Also, hotel is right in the heart of everything. You can walk everywhere
